Na de update naar versie kan ik niet meer Bouwen. Er zijn meer spelers die er last van hebben. Het wordt echter niet opgelost. Hierdoor kan het spel niet gespeeld worden.

Where to start. They completely changed just about everything about the game, and reset all the players to 0 progress. This done with zero prior notification. The main story? Completely different. The heroes? All removed and replaced by short, mediocre baby-looking characters. One of whose weapons seems to be just a regular garden spade. The progression is also different. As for the general graphics, most of the icons are outlined by a thin black line, which just doesn't look good. Progression was redone. The game overall now appears to be focused on appealing to small children, who I strongly doubt would be interested in this kind of game. Don't get this game, any progression you make is liable to be completely erased whenever the developer feels like it. As they have just done, they also might just decide to redo everything about the game whenever they want.

There’s no talks between players and devs they do maintenance for the sever and removing things that are working fine building and training troops take too long vip daily clam capped at 200 vip points a day f2p players can’t get 2nd builder they have to us free diamonds to buy the 2nd builder which last for a day that’s bad you’ll give us heads up a day before maintenance is done that’s not good and also you don’t ask us players what we want or don’t want when you’ll do the maintenance

When the Beta version of this game started in October 2024 the concept for it and the mechanics of the game were excellent as there were many elements to it which were customisable and not seen in other games. It was fun to play and engaging. As always in the test phase of any game there were many issues which were to be expected and over time a few were resolved. The lack of communication with the players by the development team or customer support was terrible. We were advised first that a new server 1 would start up with no impact to those in the Beta server who had put a lot of time, energy and in some cases money into their islands, heroes and airships. However as we discovered this was not the case. We were then advised that the beta server would close, we were to note down our IGG ID and Character ID. The new server 1 would open, we would start again from scratch to test the updated actual game before server 2 was launched. We were also advised that we would only get some form of compensation up to a certain level if we then started again from scratch in server 2 once they opened that. We were advised that would be in May. The new version of the game is nothing like the original test game but something similar to all the other games out there. Nothing new, nothing unique. All the aspects which made it interesting and unique have been taken away. There has been nothing but problems in server 1 and there is zero support from anyone in IGG with any of the issues. I have been unable to log into the game for 9 days now as since the 19th May update it will not load. I have reported it more than once on their discord page and via customer support but nothing has been done to fix the issue. I am an alliance leader and unable to do anything to assist or lead our team. We made the following suggestion. Thank you for the passion and creativity you’ve put into Game of Sky. We have spent countless hours enjoying the game, and we’re sharing this feedback because we care about its future and success. The Community Feels Disconnected Since the relaunch, a large portion of the community—especially long-time players—feel disconnected from the game we once loved. Several key changes have contributed to this: Vertical View Limitations: The shift from horizontal to vertical gameplay has reduced immersion, visual clarity, and strategic flow. The horizontal view felt natural and was far better suited to the game’s mechanics & atmosphere. Frustrating Hero Equipment System: Equipment has become too rare, making progression slow & removing excitement that once came from farming and building up powerful heroes. Loss of the Accessory Factory: The old system of crafting ship parts with random abilities allowed us to express creativity, strategy, and personalization. Its removal took away one of the game’s most unique and rewarding features. Uninspired Home Screen Design: The previous floating castle and spacious islands created a true “sky world” feel. The new grounded map, with clustered islands, feels like a completely different game—more like a land-based layout, and far less magical. What We Wanted All we ever asked for was a second server, not a complete redesign. The original version had all the right elements—it just needed better marketing and a wider reach with some new event and task features. With more visibility and community-focused updates, Game of Sky could have grown into something truly massive. PLEASE LISTEN to your players. The magic of Game of Sky is now buried under changes that didn’t need to happen. Bring back the systems that made the game so special and groundbreaking: horizontal gameplay, engaging progression, and deep customization. We believe in this game and still want to see it succeed. I've only played about a day or so. I love this recent theme in entertainment media, of floating islands, perhaps from some post-apocalyptic cataclysm. This game is really fun, offers pretty flexible City-Building, Hero-Training, and I think even Dragon-Taming. It has a lot of high-end designs, albeit some of them unfinished. There are, at this time, some dialogue prompts that are bugged, it seems. I can't imagine they won't fix it. Why I possibly won't be playing this game, is because there are a number of core subjects, that make the game feel too diverse of fantasy sources, or too "mashed up" with seemingly unsupported in-game origins. It was either too brief in their introductions, or there remained a burden enough of their distraction, from the main setting of Floating Islands. I mostly think of the battle portal area, it just doesn't feel right. I get that, there needs to be a core battling spot, but this one was just too jarring, or too much of a tangent, that honestly took me away from being able to focus on my Island, even when I was STILL IN, my Island. It would have been better, if you just included an overall theme, of perhaps Invading Islands, Ancient/Elder Islands to plunder, or NPC Pirate Air Ships to fight. The Portal was just.. too much. For anyone who wants to lock it down with this game, and doesn't care about this gripe I have(which is probably a lot of people, lol), this game truly has a really decent, similar City-Building design to games like Forge of Empires, but in a completely different, fantasy setting, and I SHOULD, be here for it(but I ain't).
