Flows & Memory items for 787
Description (

)
The 787 Flow and Emergency Trainer app is an interactive tool for 787 pilots to learn the cockpit, scan flows and different Memory items. The user can use this app for initial training and recurrent trainings. Use in conjunction with the AFM, QRH or your company checklist. All buttons are functional and the user has to go through the correct steps to finish each flow. Note: this is not a simulator, not all button functions are exactly as in the aircraft, this is a tool to practice flows and memory items and to be familiar with the cockpit. You can create your own flows so you can easily practice your company specific flows. We recommend using the 787 trainer with any ipad but it is also fully functional with the iphone. This is a very fun and useful way to study and refresh system knowledge and train your "muscle memory" on the 787. There is also a section with study flashcards where the user can study systems, limitations and memory items etc. There are two modes “Practice mode” and “Test mode”. In “Practice mode” the user will learn the different flows by following a step by step instruction. In “Test mode” the user will have to complete the flows without any guidance. This app is not for operational use, The author will not take responsibility for any errors and/or situations caused by the use of this application. This app has no connection with the manufacturer of this airplane or model. All rights reserved}

Very very difficult to edits flows. Editing only partially saves and doesn’t save correctly. Can’t edit or add new flash cards at all. Many of the flash card limitations are not correct for the B787-900. Have just spent half a day trying to get some of the flows how I want them without success. Editing, moving a step, adding a new step only saves correctly on some occasions, but then pushes other steps out of sequence. Combination steps save with incorrect switches or not at all. So many issues and crashes, I’ve given up and asked for a refund. It’s a shame, it’s a great idea, but the 3 year old UI just doesn’t work very well.
