A simple, secure, off-grid, mesh communications app powered by the open source MeshCore project. To use this app, you must have a supported LoRa radio device, that has been flashed with the latest MeshCore Companion Firmware. Once you've installed the app, you will need to: - Pair with your MeshCore device using Bluetooth. - Set a custom display name. - and, Configure your LoRa radio settings. That's it! You can now advertise yourself on the network using the signal icon, and send messages to other users you have discovered on the same frequency. When other devices on the network have been discovered, they will show up in your contacts list. For more information, please visit the MeshCore GitHub page. Meshtastic is the Windows of LoRa. MeshCore is the Apple of LoRa. It just works.

It would be nice to have the repeater get its location and clock from the GPS.

Just absolutely brilliant! The integration with Bluetooth companions is great, and repeater admin is smooth as heck. I know folks are having trouble losing Bluetooth connectivity, but I’ll bet real money that’s more a problem with iOS shutting down the app in the background, than a problem with the app itself. It’s a shame—it’s the biggest frustration I have by far—but I bet it can’t be helped much. But even with that, this is flippin’ spectacular!

I am using a Heltec v3 flashed using the latest firmware with Bluetooth, when you try and connect to this you constantly get a “failed to fetch device info” even though your PIN code you are using is identical to what’s on the Heltec v3

Sure, a few quirks here and there and the UI wasn’t made by a world class designer. But it’s free, what more do you want? It’s significantly more intuitive than the Meshtastic app, and FAR less buggy.

App sees the Bluetooth device but no way of connecting - waiting stage never moves to something else…

A bad copy, and good luck using the web flasher…avoid like the plague. Search for something else. Terrible.
