PreNumbers is an application that provides basic pre-numeric skills.
PreNumbers for iPad is available in 2 versions:
- PreNumbers: Only a limited number of exercises can be used. An In-App Purchase is required to use all exercises.
- PreNumbers PRO: All exercises can be used without limitation.
Pre-numeric skills include:
Sorting things by specific characteristics
Dividing things into classes with specific characteristics
Recognize and distinguish shapes
Quantify and compare quantities
Detect seriality (recognize logical sequences and continue)
Recognize symmetries and patterns
The application offers exercises for different skills in multiple difficulty levels. A simple presentation (forest theme) supports concentration on the essentials. A childlike design was avoided, to make the app appealing also for older children and adolescents.
Completed exercises are recorded by the application to document the learning progress.
To enable the use of this application with several people, a user manager is offered. Individual settings and results will be saved and can be loaded quickly.
The exercises can be operated by alternative input devices such as external switches.
