…is 2 years now there is no any update. Some kanjis are impossible to be writes also if you follow the indicators, is very frustrating. Also, I can’t sync the data between iPad and iPhone, that’s mean I can use it only in one device because I can’t use the same progress. I used to use the app on iPad because is easier writing kanjis, but at the same time I prefer to use it on my iPhone because is faster and convenient. Please allow us to sync the data between iPad and iPhone.

My favorite app for kanji practice, but when using in windowed view iPadOS 26 puts traffic lights directly over the "X" mark used to exit lessons and go back through menus. Please please please update to change the location of the "X"!

The level 28 under n4 is not working on my end. It keeps on restarting the kanji 院 even though I am just tracing the line. I can’t move to the next level because of this. I’ve been trying to contact the support for a while but it is still not working. Hope it will be fixed soon.

The app is very useful, but it can be frustrating at times. In the exercises where you have to choose the correct meaning of a word, some of the options are just way too similar, sometimes to an unreasonable extent. For example selecting “woman” for 女 is considered a mistake because the correct option is “woman, female”. This just feels straight up unfair. I think there should at least be a “don’t count as mistake” option for every exercise since getting one of them “wrong” simply because you got confused and tapped “travel” instead of “to travel” can feel very frustrating (I get that one is a verb and one is a noun, but it’s very easy to absent-mindedly tap one when you meant to select the other). Also, since I mostly use the app to learn how to draw the kanji (I already have an Anki deck to learn full words) it would be useful to have a separate mode where you can exercise drawing the characters exclusively.

I find this app really useful for learning kanji and definitely prefer it to all the other methods I’ve tried over the past few years. My main complaint is that I wish my progress was saved across my devices because sometimes I’d like to practice writing on my iPad too. Another complaint I guess is that certain everyday kanji readings and words aren’t included in this app like 試験、同じ、etc.

Jeg prøvde den man kan ta uten å betale, og ville sagt at det er en ganske grei måte å lære kanji på. Men, man er nødt til å betale hvis man har lyst til å lære mer enn 1-4. ikke en app for folk som ikke liker å betale for det 😊

If only one lesson will be free, instead of marketing the app as free... just make it paid instead of misleading people.

I love this app, it’s the most comfortable way to work on learning Kanji for me, but it seems to be abandoned and there are problems with pronunciation in the later lessons. 記入 (3-2-52) is particularly bad, and I’m crossing my fingers that similar issues don’t show up more often in the future. I recommend getting the Dictionaries app NHKアクセント dictionary as a supplement, but there are probably free options on the web.

Good application to start, but after some point it becomes almost unusable due to the ambiguity between the proposed answers, e.g. “to continue, to keep on” with both 続く and 続ける as proposition. Instead of learning the meaning, you start learning what the application wants, which is counterproductive.
