6.99$ -> FREE FOR EVER. Get it and spread the word. From: Marcin (the developer) >>> Hi everyone. The new iOS 11 is coming soon but sadly Right Note is beyond updating to run on it :( The good news is that for the last months of its life I decided to give it out free :) It's an educational app and a lot of musicians found it very helpful so it's best for as much people to have a go with it instead of just "killing" it. If you will want to use it after the release of iOS 11 you have to save some device with an older iOS. And if you like the app and would have gladly bought it for the full price but cant (as it's free) you can check out my other apps: "Tangled FX" photo effect and "BaM Video Delay" sports app. Thanks to all of you and have fun with Right Note. >>> ON-OFF switch not working ? There is a small compatibility glitch with iOS 10 but there is a workaround: - first TAP the switch to the state you want - then DRAG the switch by the knob to the opposite state Although the second step is counterintuitive this makes the TAP to get through the iOS to the app. [Old description] @ Try out new "Intervals in Context" @ Now with microphone recognition - play with your instrument @ Right Note - An ear training app for learning Interval, Pitch and Melody recognition REVIEW BY Lhp1: @@@@@ The best ear training app so far I used to say that I would never spend more than 10 bucks with an app, but after trying the lite version I had to get this one. I love it, good job. Featured in US "What's Hot" WHAT CRITICS SAY: [www.notreble.com] I found Right Note to be worth a special mention, primarily due to the inclusion of the microphone This is what really counts here: the ability to develop your relative pitch and use it in context on your instrument [iosmusician.blogspot.com] This feature {microphone recognition} is what sets the app apart from all the rest, especially in Melody mode Right Note helps you develop that 'sixth sense,' or 'instinct,' needed to figure out what note is where, with out even thinking about it Brilliant 5/5 WHAT'S UNIQUE ABOUT RIGHT NOTE ? @ Microphone recognition now you can play using your own instrument @ Your not just answering questions before each lesson you can train hearing given intervals with random root and notes in different octaves to get the feel @ You learn from your mistakes after a mistake you can analyze the right and wrong answer instead of just moving to the next question @ Melody dictation intervals and pitch is a good practice but your main goal is melody recognition @ Intervals in context so you know your intervals but can't hear them in a melody? Try out this exercise to bridge the gap @ Highly customizable a wide range of settings and options giving you the much needed freedom outside the given lessons KEY FEATURES: - Four exercise modes: Interval, Interval in context, Pitch and Melody - Highly customizable settings - Note range from C1 to C8 - Lessons for all modes, from beginner to expert - Learn from your mistakes: retry all you want or use the show answer option - Train listening to random intervals and pitch to get the feel - Choose between controllers for a different approach: pads, full keyboard, "octave" keyboard - Easily scrollable keyboard with a visual scrollbar showing the full keyboard - Music notation - choose between American or European notation and shift octave numbers - Bonus virtual piano MICROPHONE: - New way to answer instead of using GUI controls - Great to get the feel of a live instrument - Detects wide range of notes - from C1 to even C8 - Octave equivalence option - Tested on pianos, guitars, flute, harmonica and other - If you plug in a mic you can still use the built-in speaker}

+ Help for all Options and Settings Starting up from version 1.0 up to today there came new and new features. A lot of them thanks user feedback through the support mail :) Right Note is getting a bit complicated and not every option can be explained just with a short name. That's why now you have a "Help & Tips" for each of them. Just press the name or "?" icon next to it. + 180 spin Now Right Note works in both landscape positions. Sorry for overlooking it, especially for the iPad. Thanks Birgit and Scott for pointing out that it didn't work well combined with a smart cover that can be attached only from one side.

+ New graphics Time finally came for a face lift of all the UI. Now with a nice wooden finish. Hope you like it :) + iPad support Not your average x2 mode. Right Note now is universal and has native support for iPad. Even comes with retina display for all iPad 3 users. + Microphone octave equivalence New option for intervals and melody mode. Turn this on if you just want to play the right note but don't care about in which octave it should be. This is good news for anybody playing instruments that have their note range higher or lower than a piano. Big thanks to Vance for suggesting this new feature. + Some bug fixes Thanks Jiten for finding the screeching bug in Intervals in Context.
