Absolutely love this upgraded version of the game. It’s more realistic. The ONLY thing is the clue sheet is WAY TOO SMALL.

I bought monopoly, The Game Of Life 2 and now this. Those games are very fun since they are both pass and play, I bought Clue thinking it was also pass and play. From my understanding it’s not. I would really appreciate it if you can add it and not just AI.

In the only the brown characters win in the game. The sheet can be very empty in all categories when the brown characters make a suggestion with no clues at all and they win. All the white characters are the criminals. Plus the characters “White” is portrayed by a white blue collar woman. If I would’ve known how racially motivated this game is, I would’ve never bought it -5 stars for promoting racism.

This is a nice and well developed app, from the gameplay perspective. The music is fun, the artwork and design is aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy playing with other people and just the amount of options you have to play. However, you quickly find that there is no other incentive to play OUTSIDE of just for the joy of the game itself. After each game you can earn up to like 6000 points. But the points have NO VALUE. You can’t accumulate them, you can’t spend them on customizations for your favorite game pieces or new game boards. So why even have them? Also, there are mini objectives that clearly have no value other than JUST doing them. There’s not even a section to showcase your stats in the game. Like I would LOVE to see how many games I’ve played, how many I’ve won, any type of streaks, etc. Also well as look up stats of those I might be playing against in game. Please stop nickel and dime’n us with these aesthetic only upgrades add-ons, and if not, at least allow us the opportunity to EARN them by using the points we could possibly accrue from being loyal to playing the game consistently!

I have played the Clue board game many times, but when this came out I’ve been playing this game ever since it is really good because they have different places you can investigate in and you can be different characters. Just like the board game. It is very cool. I would definitely recommend this. This app is for kids and adults. It is a very good app to play a few rounds of clue

The most recent update has removed the edit mode zoom in feature from the iPad app. The text on the zoomed out clue sheet is quite small, and I can’t even read number notations. This was always mitigated by being able to zoom in for edits, but no more. They’ve also removed the ability to completely collapse the clue sheet. The sheet always taking up screen space means room text on some boards gets cut off. Like swimming pool gets cut off to swimming po. The game is now unplayable for me due to the zoom removal. Really regret having bought the DLC collection a few months back. It’s sadly way too late for a refund.

I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s a good game, but one small issue. I can’t even play the game. Everytime the title music in the game ends, my game just freezes up. I know it’s not a situation on my end, is there something that can happen to fix it?

Pretty bummed because I bought this in a Hasbro bundle. Life and Monopoly have pass and play and I realize how complicated it would be to make Clue pass and play but I really had my hopes up for it. I had thought that it would have had a screen between plays that could be clicked by the next player in line to keep cards and info private so the game could be passed around during long car rides. Like I said I realize adding this feature might not be the simplest but for those of us who don’t want or can’t play online it’d be a really nice feature.

I really love playing the game. It does get tiresome having to play 36 games in Tudor Mansion to unlock a new level, but the graphics are pretty and fun to look at, so it’s tolerable. The thing that needs to be fixed: my token is never in the same place I left it. I try to move closer to the room I want to be in, but on my next turn, the token is moved back in the opposite direction. It happened repeatedly on the last game. I narrowed down to two rooms and could not get to either of them because my token kept moving without me.
