The ultimate Pilot Logbook !
Description (

)
mccPILOTLOG is a mobile companion for the main PC software program. The app allows you to log flights while away from home. Flight records are synched to the main PC database when you are back at home. The app is developed for any kind of pilot, whether you drive the Boeing 787, you enjoy flying a Piper 28 Cherokee or gliders, or you serve oil rigs as a helicopter pilot... Display local time, DST rules, sunrise/sunset, globe view for all 40,000 airfields that come with the app database. Get actual METAR/TAF weather reports, look-up any airfield on a map or calculate rhumb line and great-circle distance between 2 airfields. mccPILOTLOG for iOS works off-line and does not require continuous internet connection. After logging a series of flights, all records are transferred to the main PC database via home or hotel wifi or 3G network. No hassle with cables, no special drivers to be installed. The mobile app is not intended to be, and should not be used as, an independent logbook application, but only as a complementary mobile tool to the main PC program. mccPILOTLOG logbook software is comprehensive PC program for MS Windows computers. The software runs also on Mac OS through Parallels Desktop or Bootcamp. The PC software connects to your airline crew web portal (such as AIMS eCrews, Sabre FLiCA, Sabre CrewTrac, Sabre CWP Rocade, CatCrew, CrewDock) and transfers your planned flight roster to the iOS app. The software prints over 80 different reports and some 30 different EASA/FAA logbook formats. You can free download the PC application from www.mccPILOTLOG.net}

So after being grounded from pandemic, dusted off the old laptop to get my records straight in hope of returning to the skies. Find out there’s a new app, have an offer to transfer licence displayed, sweet. Try to take advantage, get another screen saying no. Contact “support” to try resolve as my new phone can not sync, get no support

Do not pay them money! These are the worst pilot log book! Payed for lifetime then decided to change for a new subscription model. Totally left its users behind. And they make it hard to leave. Removed csv option to export to give you more headache. Never again! Be warned and look for reviews online Update: contact from developer, says CSV has not been removed! Well yes it has! You left .xls file only and .txt! You randomly added some strange symbols and rearranged everything so its very hard to parse and get your logbook data in one piece.

I use this app since 2013, I like the way I found my hours, by equipment, date, etc. But the thing that is important to me is the Technical Support for every issue. Every doubt and problem was prompted solved.

After less than 2 years from purchase of an Enterprise Edition, priced at over 70 Euros, I am advised to “upgrade” (?!?) to CrewLounge in order to continue using the app. The app as I knew it no longer works on my Mac with Catalina OS. So yes, I was basically ripped 70 Euros and now they want me to pay for a yearly subscription. Poor excuse of an explanation for that is they are “keeping with industry standards”. Would really appreciate my money back, but I “guess” that it ain’t gonna happen. Industry standards, probably... DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! DON’T FALL FOR THIS, in a couple years they will change their minds, whatever you have paid for, and that’s it. You’ve been scammed.

After ten days of emails regarding an input of total time from old logs, I am still at the starting point. Mcc removed the link for uploading ExCell files (.csv). This created an issue for this user and it seems they have decided to forever about it. I learned that some of the operations are in Vietnam and some in the Philippines. Boasting 24/7 service this is problematic because right away for the US they are already a day ahead. They always take at least 2 days to answer. So with English being the Official aviation language, it would follow that communication is the issue. The software is not intuitively easy to use. And while it offers features for almost any commercial pilot, making this work to provide simple log totals is overall very complicated. No platform can do everything for everybody. Now they call their suite “Crew Lounge”. That is one place where virtually nothing gets done. And it seems their software fits that narrative.

So I pay the money, only for them to say they’re changing it and not supporting my version. They kindly offered me the chance to pay again however, and continue paying via subscription. Please F%*!off MccPilotLog. MccPilotLog is clunky and had me searching through their manual a few times for stuff that should have been presented a little better. Syncing wasn’t reliable too, though, that may have been due to company server. I never could get my planned schedule to sync with my iPad or iPhone. Every time the program started on my PC, it would list various run-time errors. Can’t recommend. I do hope they leave a nice response below. A cheery little note offering me another “ticket number” would make my day.

The mccPILOTLOG is currently being replaced by CrewLounge PILOTLOG. The logging offers hundreds of features and printing options. The support/helpdesk is very fast and efficient.

I have over 12000 flying hours. MccPILOTLOG lost a lot of my data! They now force me to upgrade to their supposed improved new app called CrewLounge. This of course comes at a price. Even though initially the developer said they would never ask for more money. I strongly not recommend any of the CrewLounge app and software suite. Expensive, inaccurate and you don’t know when they will force you to more spending in order to keep your precious data!!!
