The Medtronic Discovery App is a comprehensive digital research platform designed to provide an opportunity for users to participate in clinical studies, patient research, and other initiatives with the goal to better understand patients, healthcare professionals, and their journey toward optimal care.
This application has been designed to make research initiatives approachable for anyone. Users are able to check their eligibility, enroll, and begin their participation in study directly from their mobile device. Once enrolled, participants will be guided through the application with easy-to-follow directions.
Available research programs and ongoing initiatives at Medtronic are listed in a library of opportunities where anyone can learn about the healthcare challenge being addressed, eligibility criteria, participation expectations, and any potential benefits to the user.
The Medtronic Discovery App was built upon Apple’s ResearchKit platform and integrates with Apple HealthKit.
What do I need to get started?
Each individual initiative within the Medtronic Discovery App will have its own eligibility criteria, however all users will need to:

-Have iOS 13.1 or later
