Let me start by sending my apologies to my fellow gamers out there for this lengthy review. I have some grievances that need to be aired, and seeing as the devs don’t seem to want to acknowledge their emails, I will address them here with my review... The early stages of this game were great. I was really enjoying the gameplay and felt like I was levelling up nicely. It was obvious that some of my opponents were bots, but the matching system seemed fair. Armed with a little skill and some luck, I could win most of my matches. It was a lot of fun! I felt like I had found my groove and was even thinking that this is the type of game that I’d be willing to throw some money into....that is, until, I started upgrading my heroes past level 5. What had started out as a fun & fair game, had suddenly turned into a game that was frustrating to the point where it doesn’t seem worth my while. Basically, every single opponent I get matched with now is a bot (which are extremely easy to spot) and once you start playing against bots with level 6+ teams, the game becomes so unbalanced in their favour that it’s just ridiculous. These bots will aim at what looks to be a random block/target and then magically hit at least half of the blocks and then still manage to hit your weakest hero (which 9/10 times means an instant kill). They seem to be programmed to know exactly what & where to hit/aim on each and every board, and under any circumstance, they manage to score a perfect hit. In the last week alone, playing a few times a day, I’ve played against one, possibly two, real live players (again, there are very easy ways of knowing who the bots are). It would actually be rather comical if it wasn’t so frustrating! Imagine playing a really fun game and feeling pretty good about your progression in said game, but then one day totally out of the blue, you realize that you are only allowed to play against the game’s top player; a player who not only throws bucketwads full of money into their game, but also has access to & uses all of the cheat codes too. That’s exactly what it’s like playing against these bots. What makes matters worse is that it doesn’t seem to matter if you start spending real money on upgrading your heroes in hope of having a fighting chance, because when you start levelling up, so do your [bots] opponents. I used to think that it took more skill than luck to win the matches, but that’s clearly not the case here. In order to win, you basically need to either score the perfect hit every single round, or get lucky by scoring double and/or triple kills...or if you’re REALLY lucky, a wipeout. Also, the order in which your heroes start and take turns is randomized with each game. Seems fair right? But no, it isn’t fair at all, because the order for the bot’s heroes turns aren’t randomized like yours are. Instead, there is no way of knowing which bots turn it is. Last night, one of the bot’s heroes went twice in a row....ultimately having the best position to kill off my two remaining heroes and causing me to lose the game. Brick Hero Clash has the potential to be an amazing game but as it stands now, it is just broken. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that it’s still a new game, and the bots are needed to make up for the lack of players. And I know the players will come, and having to play against the bots will ultimately become fewer & further between, but until then, the devs need to seriously dial down their bot’s abilities. The initial coin toss that determines who gets to start the game also needs to be balanced out (9/10 times, the bots get to go first). Fixing those these two issues alone will keep the players coming instead of going. As it stands now, I can only give this game one star. However, I would happily change my rating & review if the much needed changes are addressed, that is, if I don’t end up rage quitting first (like more than half of my now former clan has done already - I’ve left my clan for now because I no longer feel like playing regularly).

Could be fun, but it’s so obvious your opponents are bots

During quarantine period, this was my best friend and still is. I like the new update for the sound effects. We just lost sound from the characters whenever they’re being hit and the sound from bricks being formed at the beginning of the game. Minor issue for me. But the projectile “time” has changed. Shah Dogg should have a longer time of projectile but it’s shorter than the standard. The Mummy’s projectile is longer than Shah Dogg. The time of projectile is not consistent. Please fix ASAP!!!

Finally something really fresh, with a twist. Love the mix of brick breaker and pong, plus the cool characters!

Absent audio sound effects? suggest option for speed level of projectiles that can be adjusted by players and different types of projectiles would be great.
