After 20 years with the HSBC offering sub par service Metrobank are head and shoulders above them. Great app, great staff and great service. Best bank on the high street by a mile.

Held on the phone for over 20 mins, transferred to other persons only to be disconnected and having to call and wait again. This happened twice . On the third attempt told I had to empty the account I have and call back 24 hrs later. This is no way to treat your customers.

Just a great bank Do not fine just because you missed a payment Very fair. Keep you update on payment coming out of your account and give a chance to pay that bill coming out. 10/10 metro bank

I’ve been on the phone with someone for about an hour seeking to understand why £4000 was taken from my current account by Metro and applied to my credit card balance. I paid the balance in full on my credit card on 19 November. I have not incurred any credit card charges since then. For some unexplainable reason Metro has effectively paid this balance today by taking funds from my current account a second time. After an hour on the phone, the representative told me to make a further payment of £207 and that will somehow sort things out, with the £4000 going back to my current account. This is totally unacceptable. This has left me overdrawn in my current account and liable for overdraft charges. Please can someone sort this out.

I’ve been using the app and visiting the branches in London and Berkshire for years now and always been brilliant.
