コウビルド英英和辞典（米語版）は、英国HarperCollins Publishers社より出版されている英英辞典、“Collins COBUILD Advanced Dictionary of American English, English/Japanese”を搭載した、英英辞典入門者に最適な電子辞典アプリケーションです。
コウビルド最大の特徴である、“フルセンテンスによる語句の定義”はもちろんのこと、Heinle Cengage Learning社から提供された、Thesaurus（類義語）、Word Link、Word Partnership（コロケーション）、Word Webといったコラム情報、さらに物書堂独自の“なぞってジャンプ®”機能により、英語を英語のまま理解することをサポートします。
また、英英和辞典なので、定義文には簡単な日本語が、例文には完全な日本語訳が含まれますが、見出し語の数は、“コウビルド英英辞典”の半分程度となりますので、ご注意ください。
コウビルド英英和辞典（米語版）は、iOS 11 ならびに iPhone 8 と iPhone 8 Plus の3D Touch、iPad の Slide Over、Split View に最適化されています。
