Animoog, powered by the new Anisotropic Synth Engine (ASE), is Moog Music's first professional polyphonic synthesizer designed exclusively for the iPad. ASE allows you to move dynamically through an X/Y space of unique timbres to create a constantly evolving and expressive soundscape. Animoog captures the vast sonic vocabulary of Moog synthesizers and applies it to the modern touch surface paradigm, enabling you to quickly sculpt incredibly fluid and dynamic sounds that live, breathe, and evolve as you play them. Visually captivating and sonically immersive, Animoog brings iPad based music production to the next level. Whether you are new to synthesis or a professional, Animoog’s unique user interface gives you the power to easily create a visually vibrant and sonically rich universe. It is the ultimate tool for total creative expression! Animoog’s diverse library of timbres is derived from analog waveforms captured from classic Moog oscillators, both vintage and modern, and run through a boutique’s worth of high-end outboard and analog signal processors. These include modular synth panels, Moogerfooger pedals and more.  Animoog is the newest innovation in creative tools from Moog Music, the legendary electronic musical instrument company founded by Bob Moog in Asheville, NC. ** NOTE: Animoog for iPad expansion packs can not be used with Animoog for iPhone. ** ** If no sound from iPad speaker but headphone is working, this is an iPad settings issue. Go to the Settings app, General tab, set "Use Side Switch to: Mute" then turn switch on side of iPad on (Mute) and off again (Unmute). Then set "Use Side Switch to: Lock Rotation" to prevent problem in future. ** Key Features: • Anisotropic Synth Engine (ASE) - An exciting new Moog technology that allows the user to move dynamically through an X/Y space of unique timbres to create an expressive and constantly evolving soundscape. • Timbre page – Assemble unique sounds in the X/Y space from timbres of a wide variety of vintage and modern Moog synthesizers and pedals. Note: this is NOT simple sample playback. • Polyphonic Modulation - Simply slide your fingers to control multiple modulation parameters in Animoog right from the keys. • Polyphonic Pitch Shifting - Easily manipulate the exact pitch of each note in a chord by rotating or sliding your fingers. • Delay Module - A classic analog style ping pong delay. • Thick Module - From bit crushing to unison voice detuning and drive, this module adds depth, edge and character to Animoog’s already massive sound palette. • Moog Filter - The classic four-pole Moog ladder filter with High Pass, Low Pass and Band Pass modes. • Record Module - Record your performance and overdub new layers, or play along live. Transfer recordings between Animoog and any other apps which support the general pasteboard. • Path Module - Direct ASE through Animoog’s X/Y space to create new expressive and shifting sounds that will blow your mind! • Orbit Module - Control the rate of orbit in the X/Y space around the path you created for subtle to insane voice manipulation. • Flexible Modulation Matrix - Amp, Filter and Mod Envelopes, LFO with infinitely variable wave shapes and sync, and four super flexible and assignable modulation slots. • MIDI in - Use your Little Phatty or any other MIDI controller to control Animoog.}

Le ratio de l’iPad pro 11 pouces n’est pas supporté. Pourquoi aucun correctif pour ce problème alors que le synthé est régulièrement mis à jour depuis iOS 13 ? Sinon Animoog en lui-même est excellent.

Not long purchased this app along with virtually all the sound and midi expansion packs, certainly plenty of scope for creating wonderfully weird sounding projects, but being restricted to just 1 instance of Animoog per project is a big shame. I bought the midi expansion pack so that all movements made on the Animoog touch-key blades would be recorded in Cubasis3 aftretouch (make sure midi channel numbers are the same for both track and instrument). I could manually draw these parameters on the aftertouch lane, but it’s far quicker to just play the blades as wild as you like, then just edit the midi notes as required. The big let down in Animoog is when it comes to using midi Program Change message, whatever bank you are in you have to scroll through the preset list to work out its number, ok, then there’s the fact there is no midi Bank select facility, you can only hope that any other selected preset resides in that same bank! and.....as long as you don’t launch Animoog in a different project and select a different bank and preset, because going back to your previous project you will find your chosen bank has now changed, you either have to have a good memory, or make a note of the bank name and then try and remember at a later date that you have to manually select the correct bank that contains your programmed preset 🤯Of course I could always save every preset that I wish to use in the “Uncategorised” folder, renaming each preset with a prefix number, that way as long as Animoog is always launched with the Uncategorised folder selected, the correct presets will play their part, but why should I have to double up existing presets just to maintain some form of order? What a lot of effort for my £40! Please developers, implement Au3 and midi Bank Change facilities.

I was really excited to use this with my MIDI controller, but it’s useless for my needs since it won’t register velocity and cannot play more than 4 notes at once. 8 notes would have been somewhat reasonable (I was expecting 16+ though). With these limitations it’s just an expensive toy, not a valuable tool.

not really the developers’ fault, but the swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the dock gesture is too easy to trigger when playing the keys in this app.. especially as swiping up and down on them modulates the sound. a great pity as the app itself is very good

No longer works at ALL in anything BUT standalone mode in Cubasis 3. All of my other IAA apps work perfectly. What is going on, Moog?

It never sits well with me when developers keep apps up to date just enough to keep their offerings on the store but still charge top dollar for software that hasn’t had any new features added for years. Animoog was amazing when it first came out. Since then nothing has changed in real terms, not even any new sound packs. My advice is to look for apps that are actively being developed instead of paying for stale apps from a decade ago.

This has always been, and remains, a stunning synth, but please please PLEASE consider releasing an AUv3 version! Then it would be perfect!

Cordialement

Please, for the love of everything, make this synth Mac compatible as you have done with your Model 15 synth. Animoog should rightly take its place next to Model 15 as a fully functional Au silicon plugin, its a modern classic.
