With over 2 million downloads to date, it is one of the best and most trusted field guides for North American birds. KEY FEATURES: ALL-NEW: BIRD ID It's now easier than ever to identify a bird you just saw. Enter all you were able to observe—what color was it? How big? What did its tail look like?—and Bird ID will narrow down a list of possible matches for your location and date in real time. LEARN ABOUT THE BIRDS YOU LOVE Our field guide features over 3,000 photos, over eight hours of audio clips of songs and calls, multi-season range maps, and in-depth text by leading North American bird expert Kenn Kaufman. KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE BIRDS YOU SEE With our completely redesigned Sightings feature, you can keep a record of every bird you encounter, whether you're hiking, sitting on the porch, or simply catching a glimpse of birds out the window. We'll even keep an updated life list for you. EXPLORE THE BIRDS AROUND YOU See where the birds are with nearby birding hotspots and real-time sightings from eBird. SHARE PHOTOS Post your photos to the Photo Feed so other Audubon Bird Guide users can see your best bird shots. I think this is a great app but it is a little buggy and it has limited birds. Bugs: the app has some texture issues and some of the icons are mashed together or they are off the screen, and it is a little Annoying to read and see what that stuff is. Some of the bird titles are too long and push the check mark off the screen, the icons at the bottom of the screen for home, explore, guid, etc. are pushed to the side and look awkward. Also I travel a lot to other countries and I saw that this app only seems to cover North American birds and I was hoping you could add more, particularly European birds but other than that the app is really good and with a few fixes could be one of the best. I do like the style and the sorrow social aspects of photo posting. Thank you for your time.

I wish I could see the birds up closer without counting it as a sighting. It is laborious to stop and google it.

I would like to see more information on each type of bird. How often can females procreate… etc.

I have the leading books and while they are very helpful, they’re cumbersome to carry around, especially in the summer. The Audubon app has so many dimensions, including audible renderings. Plus, I like the opportunity to pledge my support without the hassle of feeling obliged, to send money.

The only thing I would add is a sound recording and the ability to cancel sightings
