If you haven’t used the HeartAdvisor app daily because you haven’t been checking your blood pressure or weight, it still offers regurgitated insights that in the bigger scheme of things doesn’t mean anything. For example, I had a recent blood pressure reading that was slightly higher on Wednesday. Since then, every few days the insight feature of the app says that it is unusual and that it may indicate an issue. When I checked my history I only had one other blood pressure reading on a Wednesday. So based on these two readings, it’s telling me I might have a problem? I’ve had other blood pressure readings on other days and it doesn’t make any comment based on those. It only seems to focus on the one Wednesday reading that was slightly higher than the rest of the readings. I feel like the insights feature just isn’t where it should be and that regurgitating insights just doesn’t seem appropriate at all in giving you any information about your overall health including specifics like your blood pressure. I’m not sure if additional blood pressure readings that I’ll be taking will change the insight, but for now it just seems like repeated information and in itself it’s not useful.

I am using an iPhone 6 Plus and I am running iOS 12.4.8. I was able to use this app a few times and then all of a sudden, the app has started crashing at lunch. So I can no longer sync any data from the heart guide blood pressure watch to this phone, etc..

OMRON, I love my BP machine and the scale but please please create an app that has ability to pair with all OMRON devices, includes Apple Watch functionality, as well as syncs with Apple Health. There are too many apps to be downloaded in order to use your products and not all sync together. One app with Apple Watch compatibility, that I can access my BP, OMRON Scale, and any other OMRON device I decide to purchase later that syncs to my OMRON account as well as Apple health.

What was the whole point. This is useless feature. Get rid of this crappy app and lower the price of scale. It only syncs every now and then and other times it does not upload the data. I hate companies making useless app the serve no purpose. Omron devices are good quality product by itself. That’s about it.

The syncing feature is good, and it adds data from my BCM-500 scale to Apple Health, but the app itself is otherwise useless. It only shows the last three readings unless you scroll, and they are all crammed at the top of the graph so no trend is visible (even if you do scroll). My goal weight is also in the top 5-10% of the graph as if the y-axis goes from 0 to my starting weight. Any decent QA would prevent this from shipping. The weight shown on the scale often differs from that shown in the app—apparently they use different rounding methods or other calculations. There is no excuse for this. I’ve been using the app for about a month and a half. It notifies me almost every day that it has new insights for me, and every time I open the app it tells me the same insights: 1) that blood pressure is important and I should get an Omron BP device (basically an ad) and 2) that it is calculating some more insights. Every day the same. Overall, if it didn’t sync to Health, I’d never open the app again.

This app and watch offers a feature to record “events” but is poorly designed. Hard to find the events and how they are integrated into functions to better track data to see relevant trends. . . . Spoiler alert . . . They are not integrated in any way. They can be named only. You can toggle between sections in the app to view events but you have to toggle back to readings. There needs to be a unified timeline and way of sorting to see results of a specific activity or event type. You would have to build a spreadsheet to really see this info.

I am reasonably happy with the Heartguide. It is accurate when compared to their shoulder cuff and close enough to the doctors monitors to be of value. Disappointed that they. Don’t have replacement cuff sleeve available nor do they know what they will cost Overall, expensive but to me, worth it.
