The Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a testament to the region’s mining history and representative of many other mining communities and artefacts.
The Erzgebirge are a paradise for anyone who likes to combine relaxation with active adventures. More than 5,000 kilometres of well-developed footpaths guarantee amazing hiking experiences. Among them is the Erzgebirge-Vogtland Kammweg, which takes you along the mountain ridgeway and is ranked among Germany’s Top Trails.
Discover the highest peaks of the Erzgebirge, thrilling moments and spectacular views on the Stoneman Miriquidi, the only Roland Stauder mountain biking adventure in Germany. Covering 162 kilometres and climbing 4,400 metres and nine peaks across two countries, it promises inexhaustible adventure for mountain bikers!
The Stoneman Miriquidi Road is a superlative road biking experience: The route runs for 290 kilometres over the Erzgebirge ridge in Germany and the Oherský rift in Czechia, and has elevation gains of 4,900 metres.
The BLOCKLINE is a biking adventure for the whole family. Along its 140 kilometres, cyclists young and old can enjoy the sensation of boundless freedom combined with unforgettable experiences in the Eastern Erzgebirge.

The ERZAppAktiv is getting an update: introducing Experience the Erzgebirge.
The update comes with a brand-new layout and a host of new features including navigation, the skyline theme slider with informative content, new trips, an updated vector map and the option to scan GPX tracks.
