UP4GC enables crafts people to analyse a building and its pathologies by providing:
Points of vigilance
Descriptors to choose from for each point mentioned above
Potential solution to propose in each case
The UP4GC app supports construction professionals in the analysis of a concrete building by developing case studies. This professional guide comes after research on the state of the art, carried out to identify training needs, create a training curriculum and help professionals in the field.
Thematical Units include:
Analysis of the types of concrete buildings to be regenerated/renovated
Analysis and pathologies of concrete buildings (masonry building) (disorders, including humidity and materials)
Energy regeneration: different heating systems and ventilation
UP 4 GREEN CONCRETE (UP4GC) is an Erasmus+ co-funded project, with the participation of 7 partner organisations from France, Italy, Greece, Poland, and Estonia. The partnership gathers together VET providers, vocational associations, non-governmental organizations, and an SME expert in the development of educational material.
The project’s main objective is to qualify current and future professionals for a holistic approach to concrete buildings and renovations that combine energy efficiency and quality of life, to advise on technically and socially oriented approaches, eg. for better air quality and ease of use.
