The swim session information is transmitted to the paired iPhone and displayed on both a table and a graph. Lap Swim is free and fully functional for the first 250 laps. After that, Lap Swim continues to function but it requires a low cost IAP to display the lap count. Just doing laps and a good way to track without paying an arm or a leg for..

This was nearly what I was looking for but having to turn the crown to select tiny buttons on screen to stop or pause the workout is ridiculous. Also you can only do this once you’ve unlocked the screen. Did a terrible job of counting laps to, missed several.

Unfortunately, the app isn't working. It seemed ideal to have such a large display on the screen, but the measurement won't start.

This app can count kickboard laps! How does it do that?

I’m a recreational swimmer who tried a number of swim lap tracking apps and by far found Lap Swim to be the easiest to use and most accurate. I start it, dive in and it just works. Highly recommend.

This app accurately counts the laps and correctly calculates the distance. The Apple Fitness app counts less than half my laps and it equates lap distance with pool length instead of twice the pool length. The UI takes a bit to get used to. It deviates from other watch apps because the touchscreen doesn’t work when wet. One suggestion is to keep the app in the foreground when the watch face is dimmed instead of being replace with a clock.

It’s easy to loose count of laps swam during workouts. Lap Swim records and provides the count on the watch face during the swim, then sends a the related data from the watch to the phone when done. That’s where it needs work. The STOP and SAVE buttons are nearly impossible to find by rotating the crown.

I have a short pool, typical for Florida. This counter has exactly what I need, laps and time, shown in large and easy to read fonts. It is accurate where other counters have failed or didn’t even allow for length below 10 yards. The developer is extremely responsive.

The lap count works great. Accurate 100% of the time. So if you only want to count laps, it works great. Stop watch is inconsistent and most often inaccurate. After a set of 9 laps, I will compare the app to the poolside digitally displayed stopwatch and the app almost always adds anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds to my time. Today it added a full 45 seconds to what I actually swam according to the poolside stopwatch. Infrequently, it will be somewhat accurate, adding 2-3 seconds to my actual time, which I consider reasonable. Today, after 3 sets of 9 laps, the app was 53 seconds more than what I actually had swam according to the poolside stopwatch. So after adding 45 seconds to the first set, it added 4 seconds to each of the next two sets. When reviewing several days, it’s difficult to determine if I am improving because the app time is so inaccurate.
