This application cannot be used by the general public in managing any health condition. It is designed to teach specialist doctors how best to interpret viscoelastic testing results obtained from the TEG and Rotem devices, so that they may better understand the likely causes of bleeding disorders. It is not designed to influence clinical judgment. The algorithms are based on a wealth of publications in the medical literature for processing TEG and ROTEM data. The structure of the algorithms used in this app is very important, simplifying bleeding management to a stepwise approach following a physiologic process. These algorithms have been devised as a teaching tool for ease of comprehension and simulation training. See the following references for further information: : 1.
