There is no way to set the charging to occur at specific times. It’s so much less flexible than the old app. I don’t understand why they’ve changed it - it’s extremely frustrating as I’m instead resorting to manually setting timers and reminders on other apps for me to then manually turn the podpoint on and off. Absurd. I bought the podpoint years ago because the supposed benefit was that software improvements could be continuously pushed to it - I thought that meant the overall experience would get better, not worse.

Not as good as old app, with time settings. Can’t get rid of it and reset original app. Do not use! Can someone at pod point sort this app out!

Less functionality and can’t even amend my charge schedule. Charging has been spinning for hours so I’m unable to charge my car.

The app has some good features, it tells me how much percentage charge it will add and it automatically charges in my off peak window. What I do not understand is why I cannot override this? If I need to charge to a specific percentage and it’ll take say one hour more than my off peak window I cannot do this automatically without having to manually start charging. Surely this is something you need to look at because the old app allowed this easily.

Instant regret. Now I have this app it will not let me set a charge outside of my off peak times, telling me I can only charge +55% this is problematic, I want to wake up to a full charge even if it charges past the octopus off peak time of 5:30. Thought I would try it for the incentive and if I didn’t get on with it would just use the old one…It will not allow this!!! Wish I read the reviews first 😢

Wow this is astonishingly bad. Woke up to find my cat hasn’t charged because of some changes you made which defaulted my charge amount to +20% rather than what it was previously set at of charge to 80%. The new app is terrible and has no menu to try to work out what’s going on. The new metric of top of your battery by a percentage rather than charge my battery to a percentage is incredibly confusing. And it’s not telling me I don’t have enough time in my off peak window to reach the usual level I charge to. Never had that problem before. It’s genuinely one of the worst apps I’ve used. Have been using the previous pod point app for 4 years with no issues, prompted to change to this app and now it won’t charge my car at home! Not sure why but I can’t revert back to the normal app and can’t remove the car to try and re add - frustrated and help centre no good either!!

Had new WiFi and all the guidance suggested access 3 dots / WiFi settings. Not there. Costing me a fortune as can’t set timer

Wish I hadn’t downloaded it. Main app now insists on using this to schedule a charge. You can only set a stop time and a charge %. Why can’t I set a start and stop time!!!
