Classic TC Lite is a non-communicative configuration of Classic TC that allows for the user interface experience but DOES NOT include speech synthesis or any type of audio playback capabilities.
Classic TC Lite provides both English and Spanish options in a universal app supporting iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad®.
Classic TC Lite gives an individual the ability to navigate through page sets. Page sets are linked pages, each of which is divided into a number of buttons. The buttons are programmed to have specific actions. For example, buttons may be programmed to navigate to a different page, clear the display, etc.
Page sets that are included with Classic TC Lite: VocabPC™, MultiChat15, my QuickChat©, MyCore, Spelling, Communication Journey: Aphasia, WordPower™, Pixon™60, Gateway©, Talk-About AAC, and various Spanish page sets. Each page set targets individuals with different communication needs.
The pages, grid layout, buttons, messages, and symbols are fully customizable. You can modify the provided page sets or create your own. Select from over 45 button actions and nearly 40,000 Symbolstix® symbols when customizing buttons. You can also use your own images or take photos with the built-in camera. Additionally, gestures can be used to navigate to new pages, etc.
Once programming is complete, be sure to protect custom files. Vocabulary files can be imported and exported to a computer through iTunes® file sharing, DropBox™ or Google Drive™.
