Even with FaceId enabled and Remember Me ticked I have to login each time to the app. Waste of time when it’s simple to save login credentials.

Despite having FaceId enabled, the app now requires a manual login. Why?

Everyone I try and log in, I enter all my Qantas FF details and it think for a bit and then gives me the ‘oops something went wrong’ screen…I’ve tried a dozen times over the past month. What a waste of time!

This new Qantas Pay App is a disaster. No balances and weeks behind with transaction data. Not that helpful when you are traveling. Been with Qantas for 10 plus years but will be leaving now

Even though their frequent fry system already got attacked, there’s still a turtle movement to improve the security features. More security features for their travel card? We better watch a sloth running. Just take care of ourselves when using their card overseas. There’s only lock and unlock card feature available, that’s it. Nowhere near basic security features the bank cards offer. Yes, there’s 24/7 customer service but if you know you know. Just take a deep breath before calling and many during asking for help. Most countries already accept credit card payments so better to earn points while travelling that way. Only use this card for a country where cash is needed and you really know how to get maximum value of their points.

The new Qantas Pay app has potential, but it’s rough around the edges and badly needs a polish. Transfers from a bank take 6–12 hours to appear in the account which is way too long when most banks use OSKO and clear instantly. It’s frustrating knowing Qantas likely receives the funds right away while users wait half a day to access them. Card top-ups also have a $50 minimum and cost Qantas a fee, while bank transfers are free, so the delays make no sense. The “Current Balance” is another weak point. It often doesn’t update correctly after spending or adding funds, and I’ve had to close and reopen the app several times and or wait hours, before it shows the right updated amount. After checking the transaction log multiple times, I’ve found my balance to be off by anywhere from $9 to $130 less than it should have been, sometimes for more than 12 hours. The Transactions Ledger could really use some more detail and usability features: things like timestamps, running balances (e.g., transaction amount, then balance after), transaction categories options, and Qantas Points Earned on that single transaction. Other things that need fixing or improving (just to name a couple): View card details Virtually in-app - Display card offers in Qantas Pay (they show in QFF but not here) - Faster Qantas Points Balance & Accrual syncing between apps - Earn Qantas Points on QPay balances, like interest on a normal bank account - Change the card Agreement with MasterCard from “Prepaid” to “Debit” cards so more merchants will be able/willing to accept the QPay Card more widely, and so that it be used as an everyday type spending card more easily both in AUS and Abroad…. Overall, the idea is solid and the interface is OKAY, but it feels unfinished — more like a basic beta than a fully developed financial product. Qantas needs to put some real work into performance, accuracy, and user experience before this app lives up to its potential.

Updated as I was on the soon to be obsolete Qantas Money App and there needs to be more improvements on this new app. I can see my Qantas point but I can’t view them or where they came from. I also can’t see my Card Offers on the app and says to check back again later, no matter how many times I refresh or delete and reinstall the app. Please fix these issues on the next update.

I rarely use this app as it is garbage. Seriously not user friendly, have to go through the set up process each time I log in and Face ID needs to be set up each time I use it.
