For the training of vision and fine motor skills; developed for children with multiple and visual disorders. Children with central visual impairment (CVI) can also benefit.
WATCHING THE ACTION, SIMPLE TOUCHING,
TOUCH AND FIND OUT WHAT'S HIDING IN THE DARK AND IN THE BOX
The app consists of four parts:
The first stage “watch what’s happening” is suitable for the smallest children.
The second stage of the game "touch and make something happen" is suitable both for children with visual disorders and for children with severe fine and gross motor skills impairment.
Children can touch the screen or just slap it - and they are rewarded by an interesting sound of a musical instrument or an animal.
The third and fourth parts of the game "touch and find out what's hiding in the dark" and "touch and find out what's hiding in the box" are made to support development of the visual perception.
The game is very simple, designed to be handled by children at various levels of psychomotor development.

The app was developed in cooperation with low vision specialists and experts in the field of early intervention and caring for children with special needs.

The authorship of the EDA PLAY TOBY app belongs to the non-profit organization EDA cz, z.ú. and to the digital studio Sugar And Ketchup. The project is carried out with the support of the Czech Radio Foundation (Nadační fond Českého rozhlasu) from the Firefly (Světluška) fund.

Připraveno na míru dětem se zrakovými a kombinovanými vadami tak, aby hra byla pomocníkem pro rozvoj jejich zrakových dovedností a jemné motoriky. Hra je vhodná také pro děti s centrálním postižením zraku (CVI).
Aplikace obsahuje čtyři typy úkolů:
V první fázi "sleduj, co se děje" se úkoly odehrávají automaticky, pomáhají dětem trénovat zrakovou pozornost. V druhé části aplikace "dotkni se a něco se stane" se děti mohou obrazovky dotknout kdekoli nebo na ni prostě plácnout a získají odměnu ve formě zajímavého zvuku hudebního nástroje nebo zvířete.
Další části hry "dotkni se a zjisti, co se skrývá ve tmě" a "dotkni se a zjisti, co se skrývá v krabici" obsahují úkoly, které pomáhají rozvíjet zrakové vnímání a vytváření zrakových představ.
Hra je maximálně jednoduchá, zvládnou ji i děti s různou úrovní psychomotorického vývoje.
