Voor indiensttreding bij een rijksoverheidsorganisatie wordt je identiteit geverifieerd. Dit wordt gedaan door een scan te maken van je Wettelijk Identificatie Document (WID-scan), zoals je paspoort of identiteitskaart. Je ontvangt hiervoor een uitnodiging met instructies. Je kunt de scan laten uitvoeren op één van de servicepunt locaties, of zelf je identiteitsbewijs scannen met de “IDscan Rijk” app via je smartphone.
Nadat je de scan hebt gemaakt worden je persoonsgegevens beveiligd verzonden naar je werkgever. De Rijksoverheid gaat zorgvuldig om met je privacy, we verzamelen alleen de informatie die nodig is voor deze ID-scan.
