It’s Awkward recording myself. And once I’m done recording I can’t take my video back. Like what if I messed up 🥹

the mobile part of the app doesnt replay your recording before you can upload it. It just pauses on your face. HOPEFULLY MY INTERVIEWERS WERE ABLE TO HERE WHAT I SAID. this should be a basic feature friend

I really don’t believe this is the best app for virtual interviewing on a mobile device. Unfortunately, I did not have a desk top available to me so I was forced to use my my iPhone. My iPhone is current, up to date and with WiFi in my home I still experienced glitching and was unable to tap on icons like the “Next” or “Re-recorded”.

This is a very good tool to streamline the hiring process. The app just needs to be able to flip to landscape mode when using a keyboard on an iPad to type out responses. Otherwise, smooth, no issues.

I found that on more than one occasion, it was re-recording my answer. I hit the next button… or intended to… And it was recording me again. How annoying! Now, I don’t know if they see that first one or not. Ugh

Fandom is overrated

I’ll be generous with my two stars. I was disappointed to have to download an app right after another virtual interview conducted by a link to a website from another company. This app says I can practice and play back all recordings before submitting, but there is no playback option when in it! I can only hope it recorded properly and I don’t sound awful! I was not bothered by the format. While I can appreciate a few of the questions being answered by typing, I do not have a webcam to have used with a computer, so I am on a tablet or phone and the typed answers are awkward (at least they aren’t timed). I find it unnecessary for a company to require a candidate to download yet another app. I have enough just for live video interviews!

The app was easy to use but I must say that in the practice section, there were no practice questions and when I started the interview, I didn’t have any option of recording my answers again. If others were given the opportunity to record their answers again, it will only be fair for me to enjoy the same privilege of recording my answers/responses again before sending them.

It was easy to maneuver and very helpful. It’s a good way to introduce ourselves and not be nervous about it.

I think my first question I was talking during the preparing part. I didn’t realize I could go back to redo my answer. I hope they don’t hold that against me. All in all I think this is a great idea.
