This app really bites. It is so basic that the lack of features is annoying. It only shows a small amount of text, and when you tap it goes to Safari. There is no categorization of feeds so you can focus on certain types. And no home screen widgets. But the one thing that keeps me using it? There are NO Unread marks. Until I can find an alternative that ditches unread marks, I am sticking with Stream.

The fact that this is not the usual bloated rss reader makes it more appealing to me than most of the readers out there. The only current problem is I can read only an excerpt of an article, whereas accessing it in full would be much more preferable.

I know this suggestion would perhaps be counterproductive to what this app sets out to do I like the simplicity I like that it’s ad free I wonder though if they could add an option to fetch pictures from the articles in your feed I personally like to skim my feed reading articles if something catches my eye with this app I have to read each title of the articles not the end of the world but having the option to see pictures for my articles would make my personal browsing experience better overall a wonderful app

The concept is simple. The implementation is elegant. It kind of reminds you of “the good ol’ days” when apps were more focused on being nice and useful.

If you’re looking for a minimalistic RSS reader, this one could work for you. Dead simple to use.

The only feed reader I use. I gave up on RSS way back but Stream got me back into it.

I’m a fan of the simple design. It’s fast, intuitive and just works! Awesome job.

This version includes a new custom URL scheme that allows you to add a feed using any application that supports opening a URL. (Thanks, Ashur!)
