So what is the replacement app for my accu-chek guide, bluetooth enabled meter, a selling point that allows me to store my readings on my phone for me and my md to review? I find this 30 day notice of discontinuance a real slap in the face and lack of concern for your millions of diabetic customers that rely on this to record and manage their condition. Update- I see your solution is Mysugr… i have downloaded mysugr in the past and deleted it since it wanted to create an account and store my private healthcare data in some cloud, which i do NOT agree to. I do not want the folks at mysugr to have any access to my data.

I am really disappointed with the retirement of your app. It works good. I bought your meter because of the app. I now it will stop working❗️ Is there any other app that can connect to It?

I can’t stand the kid like UX of many of the other apps, so what options do I have once this is gone?

I’ve used this app since shortly after its initial release. It’s been great, but with each new update, they break something else. That it uses a single-use code for the bolus calculator to function is probably the second most annoying thing about it, due to the currently most annoying thing: the meter is paired to the app and my phone. My phone shows it connected, but the app cannot find the meter to transfer data. As a result, I’m having to do the uninstall and reboot and reinstall dance, which also means contacting my doctor for a new code. This takes 2-3 days for them to find and get back to me, during which both the app and the meter may as well not exist. Honestly, the bolus advisor is the only thing I really want at this point, but Roche’s other diabetes app, MySugr, does not have that function for the US version.

My data transfers occasionally and even then I have to delete app or meter connection and start all over. It is so frustrating that I quit using it and I am looking for a meter that will connect to my phone and transfer the data.

I’ve only used a few times so far but it seems to be working as advertised. It would really be nice if it would be able to go into the landscape page orientation since I’m using it on my iPad. Also, it would be nice to be able to just save it into a file as a PDF document since I have to submit it as an “attachment” to a SM on a government website. The directions are confusing as to which is the best way to download the data and in what form it will be sent. I guess I’m use to the desktop app where I can select which reports I want and need to submit to my doctor.

Ever since the latest version post merger I can not pair my meter. I’ve reloaded the app, tried to pair multiple times to no avail. The only reason I went to this meter was 1. My insurance required me to use accu-chek and 2. This one was supposed to transfer to my iPhone. It used to work fine. I give up. Back to the drawing board. Updated: after one more try, I remove the app and this time I forgot the device in the iPhone Bluetooth settings. Then I installed the app again and repaired successfully. Let’s just hope it stays. I’ll continues to be able to download data.
