Speaks the name of the nearest color in the center of a camera preview pane using speech synthesis. Can also show and speak the three RGB 255 numbers.
If you lock the exposure and color balance (using the lock icon button in the upper right) while aiming at something medium neutral gray under your current scene's lighting, the color naming scheme will be more accurately centered in the RGB gamut.}

This app managed to survive in the App store, even though it hadn't been updated since early 2012.
A lot has changed since then, including Apple's spiffy new 64-bit processors which won't run my old 32-bit code.
So it's time to finally update Say Color for arm64, iOS 12, and a bunch of new iPhone device display sizes.

You can now use a switch in the Settings app to configure this app to use a simpler/smaller list of colors.
