The short paths taken

One of the main obstacles, or inefficiencies, of self learning a musical instrument is decrypting the music sheet notes into the sounds that one aspires so much to make. This tool has helped me channel my perception of ink on paper to experiences of self discovery in a new dimension. A black and white top spins out a colorful spectrum every time.

Trop bien et très complet, j’en ai essayé d’autres mais celui ci m’aide le plus et je vous en remercie Le petit point négatif c’est le son des notes pas très joli …

Buying the premium version was no hesitation from me. This app has helped me practice sight-reading so efficiently. Paired with my basic knowledge of reading music, this app is a great reinforcer! 5/5, can’t wait to keep playing :) thank you, devs!!

as i play the real piano and there are two identical notes in the exercise or music the app cant detect the second time i press the key unless there is a long pause between the two

Just opened, seems like an excellent app, only I have it upside down on the iPad and it just doesn’t rotate to normal no matter what options I choose. Hope you fix this, Cheers!

I got this app because I wanted to use my actual piano, not a midi instrument. The microphone input just doesn’t work. It cannot keep up when you play at speed, and even when you play very, very slowly it misses about one in 10 notes (it does not advance when you play the note on the score). this is the case at all levels of microphone sensitivity. That makes it pretty worthless as a learning platform for me. It might be better with MIDI, but as I said, I want to use my actual piano.

To update my previous post, I just reached 200,000 notes! I am still in C major so there is a long way to go to one million! The second 100 thousand I was trying to do “blindfolded”, not looking at mu hands almost at all. My next focus will be on doing more chords and then on different scales. The most important thing for me is that only thanks to this app I can simply play anything from levels 1,2 and maybe even 3 without looking down. It takes no time to learn new pieces. I also use piano marvel app pro version and I tested many others, no one has better sight reading than this app. I am good across all octaves, I am now learning jumps without looking down and feeling where I am with my fingers. Finally, I want to thank the app developers for their amazing product, and for updating app to implement some of my suggestions last time. I was about to give up piano but learning sight reading was a game changer. I would still like to see chord progression options and chords in one hand and melody in other both ways. Hugs and thanks 🙏 I just reached a 100,000 notes milestone! Technically, I reached 120,000 because I accidentally cleared my stats at a bit over 20,000. I looove this app! I use it almost every day. To the creator of the app, Mr Awesome, I have a few suggestions: A bit more songs When we select chords, please add chords that make sense. When I select a grand staff, some chords are massive span too long, perhaps limit them to 7ths When we add chords to practice perhaps add some chord progressions into the mix? In grand staff practice notes can jump up and down, perhaps add some motifs and patterns like arpeggios and scaly things Please add option to practice both hands playing at the same time in grand staff If you do all of that I promise I will make it to 1,000,000!
