贝尔蒙多家族的后裔祖斯特和马克西姆是好友，两个人同时爱着一个女孩丽蒂。一天，祖斯特从马克西姆的口中得知，丽蒂失踪了，为了寻找丽蒂，两个人进入了这座尘封已久的古堡当中……
随着逐渐深入魔窟，祖斯特发现了两个截然不同的马克西姆。一个善良，一个邪恶。原来是德库拉为了复活，利用了马克西姆，从而创造出了这个恶魔城。
最后，祖斯特与马克西姆决一死战。
游戏特色
*游戏中以双主角形式进行，主角祖斯特，配角为小时的玩伴马克西姆，通关以后可以使用特殊名字”MAXIM“来使用马可西姆。
*加入了表里城的情节，使游戏更加耐玩一些。另外其中收集家具的情节也丰富了趣味。
