Shipt is very hit and miss and it depends entirely on your specific market. Some areas have customers who are great, they tip and leave fair ratings, but many others are full of terrible customers who add on items at a constant throughout the shop, without regard for the fact it’ll make their shopper late, and if you’re late, you’re the one who is dinged for it, and they WILL deactivate you if you fall below 4.7 rating. The customer service for shoppers is very useless. They only care about the customers, not the people who actually work for them.

This is one of the best apps, both in terms of the end users the customers an entire process working with target giant everything great. Only suggestion I would have is the on boarding process as I was not aware I needed to have 90% on time accuracy until it was pretty much too late to recover and my appeal was rejected even after being it from 67% to an 86% in a week. I’m sad I won’t be able to be a Shipt Shopper any longer. The experience was that good!

I was excited to start because it was the only app I could find that allows 18 year olds in my state. I verified my license and information and they turned me away for no reason. So annoying and wrong.

They refuse to take things into account and will deactivate you in a heartbeat and give you hardly any recourse to maintain your job. Heartless company with zero consideration.

No ponen atencion a ninguna queja que pueda tener uno como conductor con los clientes no les importa nada de los que les pase a sus conductores no toman en cuenta nada me parece que todos deberiamos unirnos y bajar la calificacion de esta aplicacion asi como ellos no las bajan a nosotros aun haciendolo excelente deberian bajar todos sus puntuaciones aqui para que ellos tomen asunto y vean por sus conductores

I’ve been with Shipt for 8 years now and I really like the flexibility it gives you. But I do have some issues that needs to be addressed. Tips - Even though I know no one is forcing us to do this job but it would be nice for the same customers who order multiple times to give a tip to the shopper. That’s a lot of time, money and energy that goes into driving to the store, shopping then driving 15-20+ minutes to the customers house or business for a small payout. I’ve seen customers order $100-$300+ worth of groceries and don’t ever leave a tip but they have the funds to spend that much on groceries and not wanting to go out and get their items themselves. Also tips need to be paid out immediately and not giving the customer 14 days to figure out if they want to tip or not. Rating System - As a shopper, it would be nice if we have the opportunity to rate the customer on how the order went for us, their communication and etc instead of it only being the customer rating us. There are some things that are out of our control that may take affect on our rating and that’s making shoppers not receive multiple orders in a day or week. Some of these customers are giving great customer service but for some reason I’m getting low scores out of the blue. I’m starting to think they’re doing it because to getting out of paying for an order and to get some credit. But it needs to be investigated more on how these ratings are going. Location - When it comes to accepting an order, please make sure it’s close to either the customers house or your house so that way we’re not driving 20 plus minutes to the store then drive back another 20 or 30 minutes for drop off. For example: I take orders from Conyers and McDonough, Georgia and there have been several times where the customers address says McDonough but the closest store that’s near their house is in Conyers but the app automatically wants you to go to the store in McDonough. Gifts/Milestones - Please add a gas card as a gift instead of constantly giving out Shipt T-shirts. Returns - There have been times where I had to return all the items back to the store because either the customer wasn’t at home and not communicating or the customer decides to cancel the whole order. The customer needs to get their money back but the shopper should be able to take whatever items they had shopped home with them. That’s too much extra time driving back and forth to the store and a lot of energy being used. Orders - Please calm down with these unnecessary bundle orders. Majority of these bundled orders shouldn’t even be bundled at all because both of the customers don’t live near each other and also Shipt likes to put two orders with two different time frames. Get this app together and please stop with these multiple updates to the app!! Every time there’s an update or an error, I always get a glitch to where I don’t receive no orders at all.
