«The Kids App» has been made to be the perfect app for kids (and their parents).
It has absolutely no ads and no tracking, and after a free trial has been started no in app items are available for purchase.
After a free trial has been started no pop-up messages or the like will ever be prompted again, eliminating risk og accidental purchases made by your child.
The app lets children tap through great rich content in 12 entertaining and educational categories with beautiful and interesting videos, images, icons and sounds.
To gain access to the content in this app you have to start a subscription. The subscription includes a free 1-week trial that can be cancelled at any time.
After the trial period the subscription will renew automatically and cost only $0.99 per week.
Considerable time and thought has been put into making the user interface of the app as kid-friendly as possible.
Multiple touches are allowed at the same time, and does not interfere with each other, to allow children to hold the device whatever way they want. This probably includes making unintended touches that will, in this app, not prohibit the kid from clicking other parts of the screen at the same time.
No buttons are wrong to tap. No settings can be messed with. No language skills are needed to navigate the app as it contains no written text at all.
Everything has been made to enable the kids to use the app without needing assistance, and everything on the screen is clickable.
The app also has an auto-play feature that navigates automatically by mimicking touches to the screen.
This is very useful if the app is not available for interacting with, or if the kid using it is not able to navigate the app on its own.
To get you going quickly the app is fully usable the moment it is installed, but will get even better after automatically downloading additional content on the first launch after downloading.
