I could be wrong but I can't think of any other apps made just for duckpin bowling. This is a great one and I really enjoy using it and it makes the game much more interesting and fun. The way it seamlessly spits stats and make organizing your bowling easy is an awesome thing! There are just a few improvements I would like to see made as this seems to maybe have been backward engineered from a ten-pin bowling application.(?) Possible Improvements(?): 1. Ball Categorization. Configure so can accept duckpin ball weights in pounds and ounces. In Duckpin bowling bowlers generally use 2 or 3 ball sets with multiple weights so maybe something that allows you to add a set of balls and their individual weights? 2. I would love to see a stat for Dropped Pins per-game and set as well as when using filters to show seasonal stats. 3. The strike ball percentage seems to use 36 possible strikes per game. This is only true if there are strikes in the last frame. I think the strike percentage should be based off of 10 possible strikes per game unless there are strikes in the last frame and then 11 or 12 could be used. I would argue though that there are really only 10 possible strikes in a game of bowling and 2 possible 10 fills for the last frame. If I throw at least 1 strike per frame for 10 frames then I think that should be 100% strike percentage. My opinion only of course and would love to have this conversation/debate. 4. I would love for the PDF output of games/sets to show the frame for frame score. The PDF output currently only shows the final score after the 10th frame. It's nice to see frame for frame score. This would be an appreciated enhancement to the PDF output. I am very much looking forward to seeing the future updates for this app and appreciate this app very much. I have shared this app with everyone on my bowling leagues and have made them aware of it's existence. Several are showing interest in it and I expect them to invest in purchasing the Ultra version soon.
