Edan Stone is just one of them.
Edan arrived at the hospital shortly after reading about it on social media. She’s an idealistic student who specializes in zoological medicine. Edan's very talented, and she knows it. She's also hot tempered, and her self-righteous confidence is frequently annoying.
Meet Tim “Tiny” Thornton.
“Tiny” to his friends, he's one of the older members of the team. He's a well-built ex-con on parole with a heart of gold and a soft spot for all furry creatures great and small. He’s been with Ash since the beginning as a volunteer and was promoted to nurse by him, solely because of his experience and the care he put into his work. This doesn’t sit right with Edan. Tiny looks after the animals that stay overnight, and he serves as a security guard when things get heavy with the developer. He also has more than his fair share of street smarts.
