GIVE THOSE RANGE BALLS A PURPOSE! Your practice partner that won't laugh at your shanks (that's what friends are for)! Ever find yourself at the range, mindlessly burning through a bucket of balls while scrolling through midnight YouTube golf tips? Yeah, we've been there. CORE Golf is the practice companion for golfers ready to graduate from the "hit and hope" method. What makes CORE different? - Structured practice plans that make more sense than your current strategy of "hit until frustrated" - Easy-to-follow performance drills that actually have a purpose - Progress tracking that's more reliable than your buddy's "yeah, that looked better" - Practice schedules that fit your real life (because we know you're sneaking out to the range during lunch) Perfect for: - 10-20 handicappers who know just enough to be dangerous - Golfers who want to stop treating the range like a buffet (all you can "hit" while you're there) - Players whose bag has more alignment sticks than actual clubs - Anyone who's ever blamed their clubs, the wind, or the ball for their misses Not another golf app promising miraculous results – CORE helps you structure your practice time so you can stop randomly flailing at balls and start making actual progress. Because throwing your club in the lake isn't a practice plan. Download now and transform from "random ball whacker" to "purposeful practice person" (we're still working on the name). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Payment: Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. It was fun to use the app for the first time — the videos are great, and the practice drills are interesting and well designed. However, there’s still room for improvement, especially for use on the driving range. One suggestion would be to allow users to select which clubs they have in their bag or plan to practice with that day. The app could then automatically generate a tailored set of drills based on that selection. That would make the overall experience smoother and more personalized.

This app has been great so far! I used to just go to the driving range with no goal, just hit a bunch of balls. The app gives you drills to practice so when I go I actually have a plan of action and something to work towards. Because of this app, I’ve corrected my slice in my drives and my iron accuracy has increased!

Great app and worth the money. I love how not only do they create a plan for you based on your needs, but you can also create you own. It’s definitely helped me drop 2 strokes off my handicap. The only things I wish it had was a notes section on each practice session and a place to write down rounds scores/notes. If someone plays 2-3 rounds in a week and doesn’t practice the performance bar drops because you didn’t practice. Worth the money!!!

Core Golf has a lot going for it. It’s easy to use, looks great, and the challenge-based format makes solo practice far more engaging. I appreciate the structure it brings to practice across all areas of the game — from putting and chipping to full swing. For golfers who want more purpose and accountability in their sessions, this app really delivers. It’s worth noting that Core Golf isn’t designed for technical swing work. If you’re dealing with a major swing fault — like a big hook or slice — this app isn’t going to diagnose or fix it, and that’s not its purpose. It’s more about giving your practice structure, focus, and feedback based on performance — not mechanics. That said, the app also has some big limitations that are hard to overlook — especially if you use it regularly. The scoring system is the biggest issue. Many drills only reward near-perfect outcomes — for example, in a chipping challenge, you might get 2 points for finishing inside 3 feet, 1 point for inside 6 feet, and zero points for anything beyond that, even if the shot was still quite good. This creates a problem for mid- and high-handicap players, who may be making real progress by consistently getting inside 10–12 feet — but the app gives them no credit for it. To illustrate: if I hit 12 chips that finish just outside 6 feet — let’s say between 7 and 10 feet — I’d score zero. But if I hit 1 chip to 2 feet and the other 11 off the green, I’d score more. That doesn’t reflect actual improvement. The app should either allow users to scale the difficulty, or introduce more realistic scoring windows that reward consistency and progress — not just elite precision. The performance tracking is also underdeveloped. You can only view history by drilling into individual challenges — there’s no central dashboard to show trends, identify strengths/weaknesses, or track your actual progress over time. The “Progress” system tries to blend consistency and drill success, but it’s flawed: a couple of great sessions can set unrealistic expectations, and then you either stall or regress without the app really capturing what’s happening in your game. There’s also no way to edit scores once logged, which could be useful for correcting mistakes. Another issue is that the drill library feels static. What’s there is solid, but it hasn’t grown much over time — and there’s no way to create your own drills or adjust existing ones to suit your needs. The app also misses a big opportunity in how it builds its “custom plan.” It doesn’t account for your facilities or physical condition. You might get bunker or full-swing drills even if you only have access to a putting green — or are managing an injury. Giving users the ability to filter out certain types of drills would make the experience far more realistic and inclusive. To be clear, I like this app. I use it regularly. It has real value. But it’s held back by rigidity — in how it scores, how it adapts, and how it evolves. I’d love to see the team keep building on what they’ve created. In fact, I’d even be happy to help with any issues I have mentioned or help with any testing. There’s a ton of potential here.

I was looking for an app that helps me to set up a proper Golf training and track my practice. This app is a very good start. I am missing a test of skills at the beginning to better set the practice drills. Though, there are lot of drills and ideas on how to set up a proper practice to improve.

This app is Amazing!! Not only does it give you drills to perform but it will remind you if you start slacking in your training. I unfortunately had to do some mandatory OT at work for a couple weeks and the Core app emailed me and told me to get back to the course and keep grinding. That’s impressive. I would HIGHLY recommend this app if you’re looking to improve your game. Todd Whitehead Fuquay-Varina, NC

Most drills are 6 to 12 shots, thats low. you should be able to set how many balls you are going to hit per drill

I use the app every day to work in different aspects of my game. I’m already seeing subtle improvements in my game like less “right” misses. Less miss chips.
