I found out via forums & You Tube about this app being good for slot car hobbyist. And in deed it is. I use it every time I play with my set. Easy to use with many different settings. Makes racing more exciting & challenging timing your laps. Many thanks to Lap-tracker.

I’ve been using LapTracker for Scalextric racing, for a while now and it’s mostly good. Sometimes though the camera either sees nothing or records a time for both lanes even though only one car has passed. Adjusting the sensitivity doesn’t help. Another feature that would be great would be to choose different colours for different lanes. I have red and blue controllers - I’d love to colour the lane ids red and blue too.

It's great for timing my RC car training sessions. Haven't used it with multiple cars on track, so I don't know how it works then. To the devs: It would be nice to have other options ro extract the lap data from the app. I don't use the default e-mail app so, I can't. Export to dropbox or whatsapp would be fine. Or even, just saving it to the documents directory, so it can be accessed through icloud or when I plug the phone to my mac.

You have to figure it out a bit at the start, but this app works great and detects the cars really easily. worth your money.

This is the first App that will work immediatly and without any Issues. I tried a bunch of Apps before - for free or to Pay ... but nothing can compete with this Application. Big Thanks and greetings from Austria.

The best for a four lane track, no wiring involved just set, calibrate, and race. Hats off to the developer, simple and fun!

I use this on my four lane 1/64 scale slot car layout. I use a cable from my IPad to on old computer monitor so everyone car see the screen. It is a little finicky but better than the expensive alternatives. I wish the screen would go landscape.

I got this app to try with a portable slot car track. I was a bit skeptical, but it actually works fantastic. My only gripe is that I wish it could display in landscape mode. Other than that I think it’s great.
