《弟子规》原名《训蒙文》，原作者李毓秀是清朝康熙年间的秀才。以《论语》“学而篇”第六条：“弟子入则孝，出则悌，谨而信，泛爱众而亲仁。行有余力，则以学文”的文义以三字一句，两句一韵编纂而成。分为五个部分，具体列述弟子在家、出外、待人、接物与学习上应该恪守的守则规范，是国学启蒙的经典读物。后来清朝贾存仁修订改编《训蒙文》，并改名《弟子规》。
