Scientific research showing that listening to binaural beats might alter brainwave patterns to promote particular mental states served as the foundation for the development of OnBrain. Brainwaves have been classified into several types by neuroscientists, each of which corresponds to a distinct mental state. High-frequency brainwaves happen during times of concentration, learning, and problem solving, whereas low-frequency brainwaves are associated with sleep, relaxation, and meditation. Empirical research indicates that the brain may be stimulated into these different states by coordinating brainwave activity with an external neural stimulation source.
