App and site and terrible and not user friendly, tried to create ticket and wouldn’t submit, order SIM card and didn’t arrive, tried to get another one and won’t submit, won’t allow to change to eSIM on the site, so no service yet and was charged for it. I recommend another provider.

Absolutely terrible, but that is more a function of the way Telus has it set up. I just wanted a second line on an eSim, but there was an error activating it and I needed to get it reset to try the activation again…the only way to do that was to go through online support. But for that support it takes you to a webpage, and requires that you sign in to your account, but to do that it sends an security code TO YOUR NEW NUMBER WHICH YOU CANNOT ACCESS BECAUSE IT IS NOT ACTIVATED. It wanted me to create a new account with a different email address for them to send the security code via email. I got so frustrated that I cancelled it…but I had already paid for a month. Waste of $20. I then easily signed up with Rogers for $30/month

They double charged me. I tried contacting them for months. Got nothing just gave up really considering getting a new company.

ZERO STARS! Terrible service. Terrible coverage. Slow. It drops data as soon as you enter a building or tunnel or even look at your phone wrong. Customer support is rude, condescending and disrespectful. Don’t bother waste your money on this terrible service. Go to Freedom or another service that actually cares about it their customers.

my service is not working, I cannot contact anyone as the ticket system they use does not work. they are not receiving my message and so I cannot be helped. terrible service.

This app has worked great for me and does everything I need it to do. I know there’s a lot of negative reviews but in my experience Public has been consistent, reliable and easy to use.

I installed the app for eSIM. It’s tied to my phone and service. Despite that, every time I open it, I need to re-authenticate. Part of that is inputting a text code, from the device the app specifically enables to receive texts. It would be different if I used a card and this was a random phone, but it seems sorta ludicrous the app wants to send a code basically to itself. It also seems to have a secret pocket heater function because when I open it, my iPhone XS gets hot.

This should never need to be updated this often, the service from public mobile has been very spotty overall… app is so slow and laggy.
