What is Boeing Connected Learner?
Boeing Connected Learner is a mobile-based interactive platform that provides Training & Professional Services (T&PS) aviation students with training schedule information, Computer-Based Training (CBT) content and direct access to training center information from virtually anywhere*.
Students often face many unnecessary challenges to learning, such as fragmented information related to scheduling. Incomplete information from multiple sources can lead to confusion, frustration and costly delays. Also, some CBT courses require students to be on- campus for training access, leading to unnecessary time delays.
Our app helps to address these challenges by offering a single place to view upcoming training schedules, receive campus notifications and get access to on-demand CBT content, which students can review prior to stepping foot into a training center – saving valuable learning time. Students who use Connected Learner can worry less about managing their schedule and turn their attention instead to the learning material.
Connected Learner Benefits and Features
Boeing T&PS students from across the entire learning spectrum can use Connected Learner – including cabin crew, flight training students and maintenance training students. Boeing Connected Learner is designed to benefit students by:
• Providing direct campus information, so students can instantly access upcoming training schedules, training center maps, contact phone numbers and receive notification updates
• Delivering digital content, allowing students to view CBT content from their mobile devices
• Offering an improved learning experience to simplify the check-in process by using digital QR codes
How will Connected Learner be used?
Boeing Connected Learner helps guide students throughout the entire learning lifecycle by tracking scheduled courses and course history in a unique way while using the latest in digital profile technology. For example, with Boeing Connected Learner, students can use a smartphone or tablet to check-in – making manual signing of attendance sheets a thing of the past.
The digital tool also enables access to on-demand learning content, which will improve the student training experience with a single place to get personalized learning content. Should any changes occur to a student’s upcoming course schedule, an instant notification will be sent to their mobile device so they will always have the latest information at their fingertips. Connected Learner will help take care of the behind-the-scenes processes and enable students more time to focus on the true value Boeing T&PS global campuses offer.
