SongKit is an AI-powered songbook app for your iPhone and iPad. It helps you organize, view, and edit your songs sheets on any of your devices. With SongKit, you can edit or display songs with chords for pianos or guitar-like instruments (guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, mandolin). The app can generate chord voicings for these instruments with complete control. Tablatures are also supported for guitar-like instruments. SongKit works on musical intervals internally and all musical computations are exact. You can transpose a song to any key without losing the musical meaning of notes and chords. Tabs and chord voicings can be automatically transposed by its exclusive voicing engine. The app uses a unique layout engine with automatic avoidance, line wrapping, and information density optimization. The engine supports multiple columns, pagination, content-aware rescaling, and much more. Styles are fully customizable and can be shared with other users. The app also allows exporting songs as professional-looking full-vector PDFs. Songs are edited with a unique text-based view. You can type lyrics naturally, add suggested chords, insert some tablatures, drag and drop a chorus from one place to another, copy a verse and paste only the chords over some other lyrics, or insert one of the thousands of musical symbols that are shipping with the app. The app fully supports multitasking on the iPad. You can save collections of chords, symbols, and tabs and reuse them in other songs, with automatic transposition. With SongKit, each song is an individual file. You can organize them as you wish, let them sync using iCloud, back them up, or share it with your friends in two taps. The app ships with an AI-powered extension that allows you to import songs directly from your web browser or many other apps in a few taps. You can also share chord collections, templates, musical instruments, voicing generator configurations. The app currently supports: Songs with several instruments, in several keys; Chord voicings generation for Piano; Chord voicings and tabs for guitars, basses, banjos, ukulele, mandolin, with or without capos, right and left-handed; Automatic transposition of tablatures; Import songs from web pages, text files, or even any selected text, using Machine Learning; Import from ChordPro format. Thousands of SMUFL musical symbols; Custom Fonts; Multitasking on the iPad; Scribble with the Apple Pencil on the iPad (starting with iPadOS 14); Export to full-vector PDF files; Complete sync with iCloud; Unlimited instruments, voicing generator configurations, custom chords & voicings, layout styles, or chord collections.}

Would love to be able to easily print off lyric sheets without chords, though. Closest I’ve been able to figure out is hiding the chords but it still leaves little boxes that look like this [OBJ] wherever a chord has been placed in the song sheet.

Amo quest’app, mi permette di importare sia i testi che le tablature per il basso. La funzione di cambio tonalità é la mia cosa preferita. Consigliata!

I am so grateful at long last you have brought this app for Keyboardist also. This will help me in my teaching of music. Thanks once again for listening and acting on my plea. With Chord! and Songkit app, I am relieved.

The app is flexible to use and full of great features. I use it to construct Uke tunes. One complaint is that the app crashes occasionally and/or does not save progress before returning to documents. This wipes out hours worth of work if I do not copy to clipboard first. Also, there is no option to set the chord voicing default to "relaxed". The default chord voicings for Uke are terrible and I rarely use the suggested version. I spend most of my time going deep into the settings, each time I place a chord to select relaxed mode to find a simple open voicing version of a chord. This is a huge time waste.

Me gustaría que se puedan agregar líneas rítmicas, a manera de charts. Por lo demás está increíble. Un diseño muy bonito

I used Chord! for a long time and have always loved its approach to searching for chords using intervals and actual theory. When I saw SongKit used the same fundamental ideas but built songwriting tools and features around it, I bought it instantly. I have not been disappointed, this is the kind of app I have been looking for for a long time. It is incredibly powerful, very well made, extremely customizable, and has really helped simplify and improve my songwriting process. Thank you so much, and I can’t wait for the Mac app!

This App is just amazing, especially considering it‘s short history. It lets you quickly write down your songs. There are so many features and ways to customize your experience that it‘s almost overwhelming. Visually it‘s amazing and very apple-ish which is great. One feature I would like to see is adding own part-titles (or really at least adding a „Pre-Chorus“ part title). Also, I don‘t know if it‘s already a thing, but I would like to disable the chord piano symbol when inserting chords into the song, since takes up a lot of space and I don‘t really need it. But overall really still a great app and worth every penny :3

I have been using apps for only the last 2 years for my guitar music. Songkit! is the only one that does every thing that I want/need. I was setting up my music on my computer in a page layout program so I could have tab were I needed it and chord diagrams for the specific inversions that I chose. But I can’t change the key. With Songkit! I can have tab and custom chord diagrams where I want them and change the key-EVEN the tab changes key. The best ever. Easy to use. I absolutely recommend this app. Ty

- You can now bundle songs together in setlists. You can use them to quickly share songs with other members of your band. - When reverse-searching, you can promote the current input as a voicing using the button next to the chord's name. - Reverse-search results were also improved. - A new extra-large size for the widget is also available on devices using iPadOS 15. As always, your feedback is highly appreciated. Feel free to reach me if you have any issue or suggestion.
