Consisting of the Tobii Dynavox Snap Scene™ and Accessible Literacy Learning (ALL™) apps, the Early Intervention Bundle will help to set your child on the path to language success. If your child is displaying signs of speech and language difficulties, it is never too early to get them started with an evidence-based early intervention program. Snap Scene is an instant scene-based communication and language learning app that can also be used in parallel with ALL, a trail-blazing reading program to help non-verbal students learn how to read. The combination of Snap Scene and ALL are an essential toolset for developing early communication and literacy skills to promote positive learning outcomes for your child.
Snap Scene-
Start early to jump-start your child’s language learning development. Take a photo and tag it with recordings to let your child communicate on the fly. With topics that interest your child, Snap Scene turns everyday moments into chances to learn to communicate naturally.
Designed for children (as early as infancy) at the beginning stages of learning to communicate who:
- do not speak
- may be slower in learning to talk
- may speak but are difficult to understand
- are at risk for communication challenges
ALL-
ALL is a reading program designed to make literacy instruction easy, accessible and engaging for children with disabilities. The software delivers clear instruction that is accessible through touch, eyegaze, and scanning. Fully customizable to meet the needs of a broad range of students, ALL can easily be integrated with current literacy curriculums and provides teachers, aides, and parents with automated instruction supported by research.
Developed by Drs. Janice Light and David McNaughton of the Penn State University, the ALL Reading Program was created to meet the needs of individuals who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). It has been proven to be successful in teaching basic reading skills to individuals with complex communication and physical access challenges including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and developmental apraxia.
