CFHarvest is a system for contractors in timber harvesting, forestry and forest improvement. The contractor maintains information about their own company, users and resources in the system. The contractor receives work areas from their service buyers, and then schedules those for their resources. For this purpose, the contractor always has a planning application at their disposal, and depending on the needs of the business, also mobile applications for logging, forest management and forest improvement.
The CFHarvest mobile application provides modern tools that a user needs to efficiently perform their work in the forest. Work instructions, maps, contact information and GPS positioning are some of the many features included.
In addition to carrying out the work ordered, the application can also be used to report on the quality of the work via sample plot measurements and final audits, often required for forestry certification.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.}
