Bought a new phone and used iCloud to sync the new phone. UI erased all 2FA accounts and now I’m locked out of everything that used the Verify app!!!

This is quite possibly the worst MFA app in existence. I get a notification to approve a login and the site says username and password are not correct even though I signed in with that same username and password for both the app and the server software. I’ve never encountered something as frustrating and unfriendly as this app

I have told these guys till I’m blue in the face - you should not need 2fa for a local instance of the server, it defeats the whole point of doing it locally. The same thing “contact support” which I do they say try this and that, we go on for a week and they then admit, yeah you can’t turn off 2fa. It’s stupid utterly stupid that for a fully contained local install you still need an external 2fa service when the entire thing is behind a firewall. They refuse to do anything about it Update to developer response - this is the response they give every time and it does not work. I have been through this with them 3 times and at the end every time they admit “oh you’re right you can’t do this sorry”. Ignore their response, they have proven this is incorrect information repeatedly

I have a iPhone and a iPad and I cannot get this app to sync the accounts to all my devices. I would love to switch to this but I cannot Update: support was great, they contacted me and went through beta versions on TestFlight and got this fixed. 100% working again. Thanks

I want to see my WiFi system on my computer on my network. I interface through UniFi App in a browser - Firefox, Safari - UserID, password, I have them; « Sign in » it says Open UI Verify to approve your login attempt. I have that in my iPhone: it generates a 6-digit code, but there is NOWHERE TO ENTER THAT CODE. Same if I ask for a code by email - there is NOWHERE to enter that either in the browser login dialogues. Why can’t I see my data on my network without this ludicrous impassable blockade?Why is it so impenetrable?

It will not work unless I choose other methods and get an authentication code via email. Is there something I need to change to correct this. It works fine on my computer with chrome, but not with my iPhone.
