You’ve been sleepwalking through life without a sense of urgency. Sometimes you even know what to do, but you don’t do it. You feel like you have all the time in the world. You don’t—and you know this. You know you will die...but you don’t feel it. If you could truly feel it, you could heal yourself. You would discover clarity, purpose, and joy. You would cherish every second. And the best part? This transformation isn’t a trick. No silly affirmations. No hypnosis. This is real. Lasting. Life-long. Because it’s the truth. The Buddhists understood the power of death on the mind. They created an entire practice of meditations and contemplations called Maranasati—considered among the most powerful transformative techniques in their system. The Death Reminder App re-creates that experience, allowing you to embrace this transformation in just days. Your time is running out. Make every moment extraordinary. Note: This app is a paid subscription service that includes a free trial. Note: This app does not provide any professional mental health or crisis intervention services. I tried the free trial and I didn’t like the app that much so I canceled it WAYYY before my trial was over (the same day I received the trial) and now it’s coming up as an unpaid order on my billing which in turn prohibits me from downloading other apps. Mind you, its supposed to be a free trial…why am I being charged before I’m supposed to? Big fat scam imo. Contacted Apple and I have to pay the subscription that I cancelled while I was on the “free” trial and then request a refund with Apple. Do not get ts🥀

I thought this app would be a kick in the butt for me to be more productive, but it seems more focused on flowery mindfulness and self-growth... I'm already in therapy and familiar with all this mumbo-jumbo, so it's useless to me. There are already apps that do this better, just without the "Death" schtick. "What truth are you hiding from the world that deserves to be shared?" Umm, how is this related to productivity? I have stubborn inattentive ADHD, and I wanted an aggressive reminder when I'm brainrotting on my phone that I'm wasting irreplaceable time. This does not do that.

There’s no free version of the app. It immediately asks you to sign up for a free trial. I uninstalled it immediately. I’d recommend the free podomoro timers on YouTube for those who are struggling with procrastination and cannot afford to pay a subscription.

You can’t even proceed to the app without buying a subscription. They offer a free trial so I was like, sure, why not since they said they’ll send you a reminder before charging you. They in fact did NOT. I don’t think you can even cancel your subscription in the app. At least not easily. I had to do it in Apple’s settings.

It does what it says it does. Though I feel like the notifications feel a bit artificial and hard to understand. Would be better if they used a simpler language.

Such a good concept, but ruined by subscriptions. I wish it was free or at least had a free tier with one time payment for the paid one

Great reminders to stay in the now, focus on the important things, and discard the superficial.
