Bonsoir, J’ai connecté l’adaptateur midi sur les prises midi in et out de mon clavier comme indiqué dans la notice, puis j’ai mis en service mon clavier numérique KETRON AUDYA 8. Il ne se passe rien, pas de voyant qui clignote ou qui s’allume fixe. Je ne vois rien sur mon iPad Pro, l’iPad ne voit pas l’interface MD-BT01 en Bluetooth (l’interface se situe à environ 30cm de l’iPad) Faut-il paramétrer l’interface midi ou l’iPad ? Si oui, comment fait-on ? Impossible de charger l’application du MD-BT01 sur l’iPad. Cordialement Jean-François

Doesn’t connect even though it says it’s compatible to my iPad! Updated firmware but still not found with Bluetooth - very disappointed!

Je suis très utilisateur de l’adaptateur YAMAHA MD-BT01 entre mes périphériques MIDI et avec votre Application du même nom «MD-BT01». Je constate que depuis les dernières Màj de IPADOS v14.4 d’une part, de votre APP et surtout la Màj du Firmware V1.07 envoyée sur l’adaptateur MD-BT01 d’autre part, la connexion ne s’effectue plus entre mon IPAD (en version IPADOS 14.4) et un périphérique MIDI équipé de l’adaptateur MD-BT01 connecté sur les 2 prises MIDI IN et OUT...! J’ai réalisé les tests avec mes 5 adaptateurs MD-BT01 et 5 périphériques MIDI (Synthétiser, Piano, BAR, etc) et ça ne connecte plus en Bluetooth à mon très grand regret ! Je remercie le Développeur de l’APP «MD-BT01» et le support APPLE pour corriger le gros problème de connexion en Bluetooth en panne ? Cordialement

Download Piano Diary instead, also by Yamaha. It allows you to not only connect to the bluetooth adapter, but also alter the MIDI volume.

Hello together, as a former freelancer working a lot for YCJ ans YME I am really frustrated with the BT01. At the moment it is just useful for sending data from iPad to a Keyboard for example. If I want to control registrations in Tyros keyboards for example. Sending MSB/LSB/Prog# on keyboard receive channel, the correct registration is selected. But in standard configuration of the Midi settings in Tyros, Genos and other devices, they send all voice setting data via midi back. And those data alredy might cause the device BT01 to loose the connection to the iPad. Software has to be closed, reopened and the BT01 reconnected. If you disable any transmitting of Midi data in the keyboards midi settings (Even and the all SyEx from the systems and the chord information SyEx), then you have a chance to work with BT01. This problem exists also with other competitors Bluetooth LE devices since IOS 14.2. - so I assume it‘s Apples „monday-product“ which causes the trouble. Please inform Apple with all the pressure you have, to solve the problem. Or if you can solve it with a firmware update, then it‘s also good. Best regards Elmar Pürkenauer

The app works to perform a firmware update but doesn’t actually connect iOS to the device for midi use by other apps. I had to download a competitor’s app to connect the MD-BT01 as a Bluetooth midi device so that I could use it with Simply Piano.

Worked perfectly and without fuss updating my UD-BT01 firmware from iPad.
