The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1][2] You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to: * View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history * Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2] * Add notes to track your food, insulin use and exercise * See reports, such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns * Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3] SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at https://www.freestylelibre.com.au. USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone. Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com. APP INFORMATION FreeStyle LibreLink is intended for measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with a sensor. For more information on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, refer to the User’s Manual, which can be accessed through the app. If you require a printed User’s Manual, contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Support. Consult a healthcare professional to confirm if this product is right for you or if you have questions about how to use this product to make treatment decisions. Learn more at http://FreeStyleLibre.com. [1] If you are using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not provide one. [2] Alarms that you receive do not include your glucose reading, so you must scan your sensor to check your glucose. 1 of the worst medical apps I have ever used. it constantly goes into sensor error or signal loss, send regular error notifications when you put your phone on silent, tells you NFC is off when it is on and tells you the app is constantly running diagnostics on the sensor in the background but has paused the app for 10 minutes to run diagnostics.. Use another sensor or go back to a glucometer - they are accurate and more reliable.

hi how come you can't tap on any point on the graph to see the value at that time? this should be a core feature!

Notifications are needlessly received.. telling me to open the app when there's nothing of note to see. The app and its requirements are heavy users of battery.

Very highly priced and doesn't work as advertised. After just 5 days of use, the app started saying "apply new sensor". It is supposed to last for 15 days. Not worth the money. Stay away.

The app is easy to use and generally works ok. I have a new issue where the alarm on my phone will be showing when I check my screen, but it is from hours earlier. 3.4 alarm message when you are actually 8. Or 8.4 when you are 3.5. Just not good when you used to be able to rely on the accuracy of the alarms as they were real time and factor the readings into your insulin adjustments.

Could use some work. Not sure what the deal is with the logbook and the slow loading times. update 5 months later: I was in touch with the email and they took my ideas for improvements, but none have been made. Fair enough I guess. But the logbook loading times now are worse than before, and sensor after sensor gives weird readings too (constantly all over the place advising you to over/under correct). Probably going to switch companies to be honest, I've kinda had enough of Abbott.

overall this app is a amazing tool for people who are living with type one diabetes or who are insulin dependant. the app has ups and downs but one thing I think could be very useful is better alarms, it seems that my alarm usually goes off once when it hits the alarm threshold (4.1 for lows and 13 for highs) perhaps abbots could have a repeating alarm that continues to go off until you are in the target range. I'm usually good to get back into range but sometimes I go a bit to high and forget

After working for ages, suddenly can't scan and shows an error. Patch still sending readings but scanning is impossible.
