except the Impostor / Imposter.
The Impostor has no idea what the word is, but must act like they know it.
Your goal? Find the Impostor before they fool you.
Their goal? Fake it and survive the vote.
It’s an easy and exciting bluffing game, perfect for game nights, parties, family evenings, trips, and drinking games.
🎮 How to Play
Every round in Fake It works like this:
• All players see the word
• One player (the Impostor / Imposter) does not
• Each player gives one short clue
• The Impostor must give a clue that sounds correct
• After clues, everyone talks and tries to find who is lying
• Then all players vote for the Impostor
If the Impostor stays hidden → they win the round.
If the group finds the Impostor → the others win.
Simple rules. Big laughs. Lots of suspicion.
😈 Playing as the Impostor
As the Impostor, you must:
• Pretend you know the word
• Give a safe and believable clue
• Avoid saying something too specific
• Try to push votes onto other players
• Stay calm and fake it until the end
If your clue sounds strange, you will be caught.
🕵️ Playing as the Detectives
As a normal player, you must:
• Compare clues
• Look for strange or vague hints
• Catch players who clearly don’t know the word
• Vote for the person who is faking
Every round feels like a small detective game.
