The Fertility App can make the process of undergoing fertility treatment easier. The App helps you plan and be ready for the different steps involved in the fertility process. The app is one of a kind in that it is fully customizable to the user. After experiencing fertility issues of our own we created this app to help make the process smoother for others. We recognized there were many aspects of the fertility and IVF process that an app of this nature could simplify and streamline. This app helps you to plan your appointments, find a fertility clinic, and provides a budget calculator and much more. It is your helpful companion throughout the entire process.
Features:
Find A Clinic:
- Locate a clinic next to your residence
- Look at stats such as: # of retrieval and success rate by age group
- Services provided by each clinic
Appointments:
Keep track of all your appointments, from simple blood tests to complicated procedures and have it all on the go. The app also syncs with your local calendar, so you never miss an appointment.
Countdown:
Waiting for a procedure or a test result can be an anxious experience. The Fertility App allows you to set your own countdown, which can help you to get through that difficult time.
Questions for Your Doctor:
With the hormonal changes that your body is going through, and limited time with the doctor it is easy to forget important questions. We make it easy for you to write down all your questions no matter how small or large. This will help to keep you informed and structured when it comes to fertility clinic visits with your doctor which reduces follow ups.
To Do List:
Fertility and IVF treatments do not come without a list of stuff to do. From the moment you have to pick up your medication, to the numerous appointments, and procedures, it is good to have a to do list to keep you organized. Checking things off your list also gives you a sense of accomplishment. The app provides a to do list with a reward system, simply going to a doctor has its own reward.
Budget Calculator:
Unfortunately, fertility treatments do not come cheap. Having the extra stress of financing the procedures can be daunting but necessary. We tried to make it easier by having a calculator which adds all your expenses and takes into account taxes, and insurance payouts. Whether you have to buy 20 vials of progesterone while insurance covers 10%, or you have an egg retrieval for $5,000 which insurance will cover $1,000 off it, you can keep track of all your financial needs in one place!
About Us:
This App was founded by a couple who experienced their own infertility challenges. Their mission then became to empower other couples by incorporating some of their knowledge and expertise into creating a better experience for others when trying to conceive.
This app uses an approach based on Intended Retrievals. Benchmarking was used by averaging the total number of retrievals by age group and a percentage of intended retrievals resulting in live births. Please note, that if no data was available or there were zero retrievals, that data was nulled}
