With the CEWE Passport Photo App, you can easily create a biometric passport photo for various official documents such as ID cards, driving licences or passports in just a few minutes. In addition, you can also create ID photos for non-biometric documents such as public transport cards, sport ID cards, school or university ID cards, and many more.
Let the app automatically check your passport photo for biometric suitability. Select a photo and start the biometric check function. Your photo will also be cropped to the selected document specifications and the background will be removed. It’s that easy!

It's so simple:
1. Select the desired ID or passport template and take one or more photos. You will get the best results if you ask someone to take the photo for you.
Make sure that the lighting is even to prevent shadows on the face.
2. Choose your favourite from the photos you have taken and have the picture checked for biometric suitability. Your photo will be cropped to the suitable size for the selected document and the background will be removed.
3. Once you have purchased your photo in the app for, you can download and use your biometric passport photo immediately. In addition, you will receive a QR code with which you can print your passport photo and the check sheet at any CEWE Photostation at participating retail partners. The prices in the app apply to digital purchases. For the printout (sheet with 6 photos with additional verification certificate) at participating retail partners, the prices at the shop apply.
